I have a note 9 and with each update it has only gotten faster instead of slower for the sake of battery preservation. And it is easy to support devices when instead of giving new features you only give old os a new coat of paint. And the features you call gimmicks by samsung are used by millions. I can splitscreen 2 apps on my note with youtube video running in Picture in picture mode and another app ready to open in a popup view, and with dex mode I have a laptop in my pocket that I can use on any system I want, supported by apps from multiple big name devs ranging from adobe to Microsoft. Just because you have lost your creativity to use them doesn't mean those features are useless. There are much more adventures outside your walled garden.

This is to a more extreme degree but when I decided to go for a curved monitor the change was seamless. I didn't even feel it, but when I looked at a flat monitor I realized I preferred curved.

It's honestly meant for single person use, ideally gaming and work. Curved screens are VERY immersive at the right distance and angle
