For the past few days, many people saw the inside of Michigan Central Station for the first time, but for Angela Spalla, she was revisiting her old stomping grounds. “I worked here in 1943,” said Angela Spalla.
@@Hihoweryew You must be blind AND stupid - It's obvious that she's wearing a wig smh - Please keep your ridiculous comments out of this venue. Thanks!
@@Hihoweryewit honestly looks like a wig to me as well. Who cares about it either way, she looks amazing for her age. I would assume that she was in her late 70s not 103.
@@josepharturi5442 who cares what it looks like and no one asked you. Please be cordial. It's completely inappropriate and uncivil, not to mention in very bad taste for you or anyone else to even bring it up. Practice kindness.
Her daughter looks incredible, too. Even her mom was in her early 30s when she had her, that would still put her in her 70s. Good genes run in the family!
No way man. What's wrong with the health of our families that this lady is so comfortable and healthy at 103? Get out of here. My father in law is in micu at 67 ahhh. God Bless.
It’s our diets. The Standard American Diet is full of saturated fats, cholesterol, and cancer causing animal products. Going whole food plant based is the ticket to longevity and vitality. All plants have protein and a properly planned plant based diet is suitable and healthy for all ages.
Amazing! I've never seen a 103 year old woman look so young. She looks better than a lot of other women half her age! I'd like to know her secret of longevity!
This is wonderful. All around us are bridges between multiple generations. Life is about that. Each generation does their part in their time. The stories and the histories and the art of these "Central Stations" are a part of us; families, individuals, and communities.
My relatives lived in Detroit before I was born. It’s a thrill to see the magnificent train station they surely passed through. Happy birthday to the stations esteemed alumna. Thank you.
Good genes run in the family! The Mom and daughter(s) look beautiful, healthy and vibrant. I am glad they have such a great relationship and I can only pray I'll look half as good in me later years.
It's definitely not the same.I'm glad she mentioned the truth that the true vibe was not relived. She could not lie about that part. That is amazing.I wish I could bring mister governor groesbeck back to my house. I get to chill with the old governor and the first man of the first highway. I'm laying tracks all the time.
I visited this place years ago and it was just a big abandoned building surrounded by a fence. I always thought this place had so much potential if the city or group of investors would just renovate it. I guess someone saw that it was worth bringing back in some capacity. The building's architecture is impressive.
He daughter looks just like her. Hopefully she inherited those longevity genes! I hope the family reads these comments - Get your mother to do an AncestryDNA test right away if you haven't!
It is beautiful, but with all the poverty and homelessness in Detroit, I'm sure this was highly controversial. Shouldn't those issues have been addressed first?
From what I've seen, not really. Besides, this is a project by a private company, namely the Ford Motor Company on its property. Its just that the civic impact of this project is fairly large.
as a resident, there was no controversy, the entire city was excited to see this building either torn down or Renovated. Lucky for us, Ford decided to renovate it and make it their future location for E-motor tech development. also, private company's don't take up city money, since the renovation was being done by ford, their would be no reason for protest. (people in Michigan would rather have potholes fixed on the streets before anything 🤣 )
