I honestly like both characters. I always feel sorry for Cat since he has always been the slap of the slapstick, which means he always ends up getting hurt physically and emotionally. I always thought Dog was cute and funny, despite his intelligence and being overly optimistic in certain situations.

I had a couple CatDog books that were pretty cool. The one had two stories with one featuring Dog and the other Cat. You read the book one way for Dog and then flipped it for Cat. Just a fun fact in case we ever get a 107 more facts video

This is one of the few times I feel nostalgic for anything. For cartoons, this and Wild Thornberrys are my earliest experiences for Nicktoons. Just gosh, I need to rewatch these episodes. They have this rustic charm to them with all the creative locals.

My favorite episodes are It's a Wonderful Half-Life, since it's a perfect visual metaphor for Jim Cummings and Tom Kenny, and The Island for reasons that have been brought up in various facts (mainly in the mid 30s of the list).

So...fun fact. Just found out that Peter Hannan is actually a professor at my university I attended. I remember one of the girls in my class mentioning this to me as she was really big into cartoons and took a class where he taught and got him to sign her sketch book with a catdog doodle as well. If anyone wants to learn from Peter, go to Arizona State University. Not only is a good university with multiple majors and minors, but its a fun campus to be around, if you don't mind the Arizona heat. < 3

Fact 84 To be fare Cat and Dog are 26 years old and technically with Dog having an operating license Cat can legally drive with any one over the age 25 with an operating license From what I know...

Surprise fact: CatDog was the only nicktoon guest on the game show “figure it out” They were portrayed as CGI models when that episode aired....and got slimed.

Dude I miss keto Cheese Nips. Those are my favorite. Cheez-Its are the best in my opinion but for some reason those Cheese Nips were brilliant. I also had a cat dog toy that was all squishy cuz it had green goo in the middle and one that was like an accordion where we knew stretch it their voices get higher-pitched and then when you bring it in their voices are normal again

Here are some additional facts to lend accuracy. CATDOG was in production for three years, ending in March 2000. It was not five years. I was not so much an "artist" on CATDOG, but was in essence an Assistant Director, credited as an "Animation Sheet Timer" and helped direct 95 of 120 episodes. The reference to me as "an artist" was in the Steven Banks interview, where you gathered your research. Interestingly, Steven denied to me that the alleged parody of "The Amazing Ray" character was based on me--a tired and OVERWORKED employee. But Banks stated it in print. There were others of the production team who were caricatured as well. Incidentally, it's a good idea to check with people about using their images before you include them in videos.

If you watch the movie where they find they're parents there is a scene where they used the restroom and jokingly characters came out and were saying "so that's how they do it" Once catdog came out you can see dog making a face as if he was just throwing up so you fill in the blanks

Well, here's my thought on that: Maybe your mom didn't get you a CatDog toy because you pestered her. She didn't like you pestering her, so she didn't get you the toy, because if she got you the toy, you'd just pester her every time you wanted something, because you'd learn that that's how you get what you wanted. Let me tell you a story: When I was eight or nine, I asked my parents for a Meowth plushy. So my mom made a deal with me. Every day, I would read a few chapters of The Yearling, and then once I finished it, she would order the doll for me. So that's what we did, and I got the plushy, and I still have it to this day. I guess the moral of all this is: You catch more flies with honey than with vinegar.

I remember watching an episode that I think was an old Looney Tunes cartoon, where there was a cat and a dog were fighting in a tornado or in a dust-cloud, and they stop to catch their breathe, the cat and the dog were conjoined like CatDog, but one was blue and the other was red.

To be frank, I only have vague memories of CatDog. I was only five years old when it premiered, so I could not understand a lot of the stories. And by the time I grew up, CatDog was partially gone. Therefore, I really don't remember enough about CatDog to have an opinion. Yes I remember The Island and its "Paradise" Song, and I actually liked the episode where CatDog tried to impress a female at the park, but that's all I can remember. I'm sorry for those who like this show, but I just can't have an opinion about something I barely remember.

I'm afraid that taking care of such creature would cost a lot. You need special food, vaccines, shampoos etc. But hey, at least you don't have to take it for a walkwalk, because of obvious reason :)
