The three finger salute was actually created in the novels, it’s described as being a gesture of farewell used at funerals, or used for solidarity. It then turned into a symbol for the rebels due to Katniss’ use of it during the games.

I can’t believe rue, Cinna and thresh got so much hate for being black , when their roles where casted amazing. They did each character justice. It hurt my heart how racist ppl were in those times……

@@jakel.1724 if youre talking about rue, people did care (and hated) her being black. the internet was horrible to amandla, saying they would've felt badly about rue's death if she wasn't black, how she shouldn't have been black if katniss saw rue in her, etc

“$78 million dollars is a modest budget for a blockbuster”. Maybe if they spent $80 million, the CGI Fire effects would have been better. Amazing movie though. Easily one of my favorites.
