Crazy. I was 15 when this released. Now I am 28, married, w/ 2 daughters. I miss waking up at 8AM Saturday mornings to play w/ my friends from school and friends I met online. Thank you all here also, for making this game playable. I would definitely spend $100-200 on a game that can help me re-live the nostalgia.

When this was released, I preferred MW2 for Multiplayer, but Zombie's was the best, Kino de Toten and Ascension 🙌, so MW2 for Multiplayer, BO1 For Zombie's.
I was too young to understand waw so Bo1 was my first real cod. Actually being half decent at multiplayer and trolling with ballistic knife/crossbow tomahwak was so much fun. fortnite* yes maybe i have a fortnite avatar. However, i don't like fortnite that much. I'm playing it so a better game would come out and then i'll quit. I did play bo1 back in 2013-2012 and mw2, mw3 and mw1. Good ol' days man. Fortnite will never reach the fun like the old cod games were. The company it self is shit aswell. Not to mention treyarch just doesn't simply give a fuck about the fans, only for the money.
I remember playing black ops with a friend, playing those early mornings after I found out that he had terminal cancer, we played until the last game, he never gave up as the good soldier he was, and I remember that he told me it's not goodbye, it's see you soon , friend from heaven we will meet again in the afterlife, I dedicate this intro to you 😭😭

I miss these friends. I miss these simple times. I miss coming home from school and hopping on without a care in the world, other than hoping that my mom would give me $20 to get the new map packs. It's not all bad though. At least we all got to experience this, and hold the memories in our hearts.

It's 1AM Thursday night. You guys just finished your 20th Search and Destroy on Array. One of your guys says "I'm tired, 'night guys." while the other one says "Yeah me too. See you guys tomorrow." One by one your group leaves the lobby until only you remain. You turn off your Playstation and think about what your going to talk about when you see your friends in the schoolyard before the bell rings in 7 hours. After school you guys get home, turn on the Playstation, link your headset, and play Kino for a few hours until one guy says, "I'll be back. Gotta eat." You all take a break for an hour and then come back to repeat this process. And then a few years later you realize that you took these days for granted. Your childhood was now only memories, forever secured by the bonding with your brothers.
Back when we could vote for maps, no skill based match making and you could stay in the same lobby as everyone else for hours. Joining a TDM lobby and hoping for a nuketown, firing range or summit map. I miss 2011 :(

@@CIARUNSITE I'm gonna say it, Warzone is honestly trash. If I ever came to enjoy it solo it'd definitely be a guilty pleasure, like GTA Online. Fun with friends for sure, but only fun solo if you're a masochist.
Don't agree , because i think mw2 cold war and mw2019 are better than any other og cod , because of the movement,guns,diversified game modes like battle royale that are way better and funnier than those og games my guy
@@Evilotto12 opinions my guy i don't judge, in my opinion the list of the best 10 cods I've enjoyed a lot in my life are these ones my guy First the best one imo is MW2 2022, the second is Cold War, the third is MW2019,fourth Black Ops 2, fifth MW2009,sixth black ops 1,seventh mw1 2007,eight advanced warfare, ninth mw3 and last but not least Black ops 3 people should not discuss opinions and the other cods didn't catch my attention these ten are the best I've enjoyed really and MW3 it's gonna be a blast 💥🤯💥

I remember being 10 and 11 playing this game in 2010/2011 and hearing all the older teens and young adults 16-21 talking on the headset and leading the matches. Fast foward 10 years ish later im those older people now being 22

@@kruegersix Honestly, I'm against the remastering of games. Call of Duty has to innovate. We can't just dwell on the past and reboot older Cod games even though they were perfect. Even if BO1, BO2 or MW2 got remastered, it would turn out worse than the original games. Microtransactions, pay to win guns, non-cosmetic items. Activision also got a lot greedier. MWR was alright, but it you basically had to buy IW to play MWR, which killed it for me. It's not the same man
