@troyturner2646 You obviously don't, Gold dipped is what they do to real gold that's 10k and 14k to give it a 18k-22k look. Goldplated is fake where they plate Silver, brass, copper , and steel. You thought I was comparing fake gold plated Jewelry and I wasn't so the jokes on you

@troyturner2646 Dipped Real Gold Chains take over a year or more to fade to their natural 10k or 14k color not days, you were wearing gold plated or gold bonded copper or steel
