What bar are you using? It looks very minimalist and quite wide.

Amazing to see it in action on water. How much wind was it during the twintip session?

I think probably 10-12 kts

I was thinking of buying the Gin Marabou 2 for low wind conditions on water as well as snowkiting (Alps). I weigh 70kg. Do you think the 10m is the best option or are there concerns I will be too overpowered on snow?

10m to big... choose 8m I am 90kg and can foil in about 8knts even lower with good techique

It is really great to finally see some footage of this kite. Hard to find on RU-vid. I think this looks like the ultimate option for low wind kite without going to a massive traditional foil kite. I am from CO but moved to a beachy destination that has light winds and looking for a light wind foil kite. What are your thoughts about the 10m vs 12m? My instinct is to immediately go to the 12m because it is such light winds here. If winds really pick up, I would just switch to my LEI kite. Any opinion?

It would depend a little on your weight, but for most folks - espieally if you are using it for light wind foiling - Id recommended the 10. Its a little more nimble and will penetrate better upwind as the winds pick up a bit. I honestly haven't tried the 12 yet for lightwind twintipping, but felt like I was getting another knot -maybe two- on the low-end when on foil. The 12 is slower but has grunt in spades. It will top out in speed sooner though.

@@coloradokitesports6671 yeah, I’m in conditions where I will have steady winds at 5-6kts for days at a time. If I can kite in that condition, it would increase my time in the water by 40-50% if I was really so inclined. I realize everyone prefers the smaller kites for (1) wind range and (2) kite performance, but I’m specifically trying to get something to replace what many others in the area will use like 18m+ foil kite and if condition really pick up, I can switch to other kites that handle higher winds better 🤷🏼‍♂️

@@Freebts007 If you are talking about foilboarding - yes you should be able to make that work pretty easily. But for twin-tipping I think you will still be out of luck. Hope that helps.
