Even if your Christopher Ironsides were between 700-7,000 of them then that’s only 0.01%-0.1% of all circulating Ironsides, as you say hardly made an impact on them in the wild. All coins over time will get fewer naturally and without them producing commemorative designs for circulation regularly that ultimately will harm the hobby the most. Hopefully you’ll be able to ✅ off a needed alphabet in the next one. Great stuff Christopher 👍🏻

I have never found a single alphabet 10p in my change. I’m so glad I just bought a full uncirculated set when they were released as I would have been so frustrated searching for the whole set.

I found some new coins this week as dictionary, Pride x2 and memorial x2 as well as a lock ness monster 10p dated 2019. Does this 10p have value?

You don’t need to explain yourself Christopher, the minuscule fraction of circulating commemorative coins any one collector has doesn’t impact someone’s chance of finding one. If you put all collectors together of course that has an impact, but that’s the nature of the hobby. The number of collectors on RU-vid as a percentage of collectors is tiny too. I get it’s frustrating as a new or young collector that it’s hard to find rare coins but they are after all rare, if more commemoratives were released new collectors would be better engaged
