10th Ed Warhammer 40k Chaos Knights Index Overview 

Wish there were more visble ways to play the army besides "oops all dogs". Unfortunately the big knights are so inefficient it's just difficult to make them ever worth their points.

What do you think of the Chaos Knights?

Love Chaos Knights, its a shame the army rules are sooooo bad, worst part, they might add other detachments, but the army rule will remain... (cant even remember the last time my army rules did anything worth anything) Abominant is, sadly, trash. He was my go-to big knight in 9th, now he is just plain awful. A single battleshock test at 400(!) points?, and getting stuck with a worst knight than Rampager/Desecrator/Despoiler (and neither of this guys is great to begin with) just sucks. I would love to field big chaos knights without getting that feeling that you are overpaying for them, some of them (Rampager, Lancer, Tyrant) are soooo close to being ok, GW just need to give them a better army rule or lower points still and they could totally be playable. Others like Acheron, Desecrator are still in need of some more serious points drops. And then Abominant... which needs a complete rework, because anything other than just making him super cheap at his current rules/profile will just not cut it... and i mean CHEAP, like 300 or less, which sounds insane, but he is just so bad.

Was waiting till the end for the “review” part but it was basically just reading the index cards with almost no analysis whatsoever.
