It suuuuucks that the algorithm does it, but I'll accept it, quality content doesn't come quickly and I am sure aiming to making the best warhammer content there is!
I'm always surprised by how few people slice up the legs of the Knights to repose them. It's so simple to do and makes the Knights look so much better when in a group. Awesome job on this conversion.
Thank you Deadmetal! I think it's convenient to not hack up an expensive model and also, it can be scary! I just hope someone watching these videos will see its easy and gives it a go!
@NuHue I would love to see a bodyswap between a Chaos Knight and an Imperial Knight where basically the Imperial Knight has the Chaos Knight legs and the Chaos Knight has the Imperial Knight's legs, (mostly cus I plan on that kitbash but dont wanna drop nearly 500 on 2 models, one of which I won't use.
This is a n awesome chaos knight!!, I have played chaos knights ever since they came out and this is the best chaos knight rampagerI have seen to date.
You may never see this, however something to help green stuff in a mold, is to take bees wax or even using beard balm or beard oil… (what I use, lol) brush a very light layer in the mold, then press the green stuff into the mold, keeping you finger tips wet, really get in there and then let it dry for like 24 hours, usually it’ll come out nice and smoothly. I also do this when making a small resin mold with green stuff or that one Japanese toy you heat up and mold around thing when using UV resin. Makes it so much easier.
Slowly but surely it will rise! Well I'm extremely happy you found our video, and even more so to see you found it relaxing! I hope you stay for future videos. I hope you enjoyed the show!
Thank you Val! A lot of time and effort goes into the production which unfortunately means I cant upload as frequently! But, quality over quantity! I hope you enjoyed the show.
Just barely getting into warhammer 40k painting. Been following the lore for years and decided it’s time to learn to paint and play. I would love to see a Nurgle night? I plan to build an army soon
Great Video-Thank you! I am trying this technique as I type. The one question I have is that I am using a toothbrush to reduce the crusted dark rust deposit and it isn't actually doing anything. Do you put white spirits on the brush first?
Phenomenal video mate, you're really getting there with the top mini painting creators in terms of quality, both in regards to the mini and to the video! Looks amazing
Thank you! It means a lot to see this comment. We will keep putting the work in! One day maybe I'll be considered their peers. Hope you enjoyed the show.
That depends, everyone is entitled to what their view of what grimdark is. For me, it's dirty, gritty, doom and gloom but yet vibrant with colour! This is just my interpretation of an artistic view on grimdark.
I think the Mold would work if it was in 3 parts, the design in the middle, and then the 2 sides to squish it, and then you can just poke it out. or itll stick to one of the walls and you can scrape it off
Thank you! I did try that method but because I wanted the front to have a design the greenstuff just got stuck to the other side aswell. Even with a release agent it barely did anything! It certainly is an idea I want to refine because it will save so much time on future kitbashes. Maybe I go further and split the 2 sides in half so what ever is in them can be accessed just that bit easier.
Hey Bok, the plastic card specs are as follows: White Plasticard matt/glass Solid Polystyrene HIPS. The sizes that I have to use are: 0.75mm 1.00mm 2.00mm Now depending on which area you want to use the plastic card, would indicate which thickness you would need, but I find that these 3 thicknesses are perfect for everything!
7:50 Did you use Vaseline or Lube on the mold? It seems like a great idea that I want to explore. And having info always helps. Great video btw, really enjoying this.
Yeah I did use vaseline on the mold, you can see at 0:59 a quick snippet of me doing so. It "kind of work" but the issue was the greenstuff was just still too tacky and sticky... I did also try other mold releases and the issue was the same. I need to come up with a better idea of the mold before I try this again! Also, thank you!! I do hope you enjoy the show.
Amazing model! What kind of glue do you use that manages to still work even if you painted the parts that you want to glue together like at 44:14? I use Games Workshop's and it just doesn't work when I already painted or primed the two parts I want to glue
Nice work. And that visual movement in the pose is perfect! 👍Oh, and thanks for the heads up on the K&S Tubes, I've just bought a couple of packs. I have various long lengths. But these very varied shorter lengths will come in very handy. Cheers! 😁
damn, the model is fanstactic and i really really love your base, very creative and easy to do with normal stuff in the house the barbwire part is a bit fast, can you tell me more detail about it? I'm new to make DIY base
@@NuHue awesome! Thanks! As in like downloadable if you subscribe? I only see 1 video of this rampager up there so far. Is the file in the video or something?
Thank you Jacob! Ooohhhhh yes! That sweet 10th 'ed Tyranids! I already have a killer idea for them and I'm hoping to do a video making the entire Tyranids army.
You should take that effect you had with the "Hindsight is 20-20" section in the video, and create a new video of you talking about bad/sad/failed relationships you've had. Also, make sure you are sporting that pink sweater, and you have the huge 80s mic in your hand to complete 'the look'. It'll be EPIC!!!
Finally finished the whole video. Love your content and the time you put in is truly inspiring and appreciated. I really hope this channel gets the recognition it deserves
Thank you Jonny! A lot of time went into the writing, design and editing. Here's to providing better content and further improvements! I hope you enjoyed the show.
Love your take on Khorne minis. Would love to see your take on the control room of the Conqueror, with Lotara Sarrin stood in front of her demonic form melded to the control throne.
@NuHue I haven't seen you do any diorama work, but with your feel for Khornate imagery, I think you would smash it.. I think there is a battle in lore of ultramarines boarding the ship so could have a battle on the bridge, including demons slaved to the control stations?
Your video is amazing, I think you did a really amazing job painting that imperial knight. It could have been perfect in my opinion if you held back and didn't add those osl effect with the different lights and power packs of the knight or at least toned them down but it's your art piece and you do what you want with it. You made me want to finish painting my imperial knights army and start a chaos knight army.
Thank you Timothé, yeah I did want to go for a more "over the top" effect, just to add some more colour into the grim style. I do enjoy mixing the two worlds together. The world of grim dark and the world of punchy colours! Incredibly happy that this has made you want to do a Chaos Knight army! I would love to see your works on our Discord sometime! I hope you enjoyed the show.
Thank you Joshua! Means a lot to read such a comment. We are slowly growing, sooner or later we will be worthy! I'm glad that you found us and more so that your back into grimdark! Hope to see you around the videos more.
Thank you Verocyie! There are plenty more Knights to come! Depending on how the landscape looks for Chaos Knights in 10th 'ed it may direct as to how these armies develop. I have to say, I was really hyped for when Vashtorr dropped and it did give me a lot of inspiration into this Knights design. But I do want to continue with that theme, with a little mix of demonic entity inside. I still have the other WarDog to build!
@@NuHue Oh my goodness, a wardog combined with a heldrake and Vashtorr wings! That would look so fucking cool! The Wardog you already have looks like a werewolf type thing already, so continue the animal/fantasy theme!
