I didn't remove it from the bottom at all to lazy and I glued my side fender to the bumper and light so I worked with just loosening the top only and passenger light area and worked that way so I only removed top and pulled away
I also changed the chrome grill with a gloss black one, but also blacked out the front H emblem and black plastic board behind it.. much more aggressive look than the ugly af chrome.
Thank you for the comment, mine hasn't faded and still looks great. Drive on the highway a lot so little chips from rocks but that's normal with a lot of highway driving.
Thank you for the comment much appreciated. I would say without filming it would have taken about an hour but have experience with taking off the bumper and such. So for the average person with little experience probably an hour and a half to 2 hours. Depends on how technical you are!
Apologies if this is a ridiculous question but will the black grill get ruined in the winter from really cold weather and such? Or its okay to have it on all year long?
Thank you for the question, the black grill is designed for all elements just like to factory grill. I wouldn't see any issues having the grill on all year!
I just installed the same grill on my honda 2016 civic EX but when I tried to put the OEM H emblem, it didnt fit. Does the aftermarket grill uses a different H emblem? Maybe a 9th generation or something? Any advice?
Hmm that is interesting, the grill I used didn't seem to have any issues with using the original emblem. I would recommend checking the specifications on the grill and see what emblem size it takes then purchase one from amazon. At least that's what I would recommend! Thank you for the comment
That is a honey comb grille I looked at exact same one for my tenth gen civic I went with the gloss black traditional grille but that is 100 honey comb
You can its just less safe as those jacks aren't the best. But I have done many things with those jacks when it was all I had. Just proceed with caution and stay safe. Thank you for the comment!
I just installed mine but has like 2 small gaps by the headlights. Idk if it’s a factory mistake or I just did something wrong but it doesn’t shake and the clips are back in place
Good question my friend, haven't spent a lot of time on the socials. Ill need to branch over there and recommend to check it out in my upcoming videos! Thank you for the comment brother!
I appreciate the opportunity but unfortunately don't have the most time. But feel free to reach out to a local mechanic I'm sure they will install and change by the hour! Thank you for the comment!
