CORRECTIONS:
-Buy plastic trim remover tools. The cloth on the screwdriver thing was stupid and left a small dent in the plastic window switch assembly.
-Do not listen to your new speakers at full volume immediately, they have a 14 hour break in period. Listen at around half volume until then.
-Don’t scratch the heck out of your car door inside when removing connectors like I did. It could rust out the inside of your door panel.
-This does absolutely nothing to deaden the interior road noise. Trying to quiet down the road noise and rattling on a Honda Civic is a losing battle. Honda made the Civic extremely cheaply and no attention was paid at all to interior sound deadening or NVH as they call it. I tried to deaden the entire car top to bottom and it was still extremely loud inside. Go with Michelin premium tires to have the best chance of reducing road noise.
-I stupidly left the stock tweeters in playing on top of the built in tweeters on my new speakers. It sounds perfectly fine to me and brings the sound closer to my ears up top but some people may prefer to disable them.
-Buy the touring trim Civic if you can afford it lol. It has a subwoofer and better amplifier making your life so much easier.
-If your really a true audiophile, don’t buy a Honda Civic. Go with another brand that has a named audio system like Bose in Hyundai or Nissan vehicles. The Bose system in my new Elantra is incredible.
My Civic is no more and I will not be releasing any more videos on this Civic. I have a new Elantra I will be modifying.
