It might seem that way on youtube, but when you play the game, you find that there aren't a lot of memes happening. There were a lot more combo decks last year, for example.

Steve Lalancette that might be true, but there’s a big difference between letting your opponent slowly die because you stole their entire deck like a scumbag, and filling your hand with 10 god damn zero mana king krushes. It definitely matters how exciting the combos are in the grand scheme of things.

Firebat had to meme away for dozens of games probably before he got he off once, then he never played it again. You could play for thousands of hours and yet you'd be very unlikely to ever see anyone do this to you.

you have to admit though he cleared entire board every single turn. Warrior had perfect answers every turn, boom on curve and in only that senario you can fall behind hard. Against aggro secrets are stronger than against control, also unleash is much higher power card there. So Idk, maybe it actually can work. Of course not top tier, we know it's a meme but pretty legit meme I would say :) I would love to play it but don't have Subject 9 and it's not worth crafting for my f2p standards.

+A Random Yoyo The first hunting party only gives you one King Krush as well. This means you either don't need to draw Zuljin or the second hunting party and makes the combo more consistent. Granted disrupting master's call is a draw back, but it's also a positive side because hunter can't tutor for the hunting party, however master's call can tutor for that 4/3 when you need it for the combo.

Just before the expansion. About 5 or 6 card art changes to reduce violent/suggestive imagery. Supposedly because of pressure from Chinese regulations, but Blizzard didn't admit as much.
