Takeoff is the best part of any airplane, especially the engine sound, landing gear retraction, spool up. I think landing is even harder as the aircraft smashes down the runway. Otherwise some professional pilots can butter 🧈 the plane.
I had anxiety back then in the plane, and i couldnt calm down during takeoff, but seeing people this young calm during a takeoff is amazing to see, it helps my anxiety knowing i can stay calm too@
Despite being an experienced flyer, this is literally me every time. The feeling of being pushed back in your seat, hanging on to the armrest and looking around for no reason(probably just my brain is transitioning into unnatural mode). She was perfect!
I remember I only screamed when we take off because you could just feel that the gravity was getting stronger and it was pushing me to the ground. But that was the only hard part. The landing and just flying straight was fine
That is so cool. It reminds me of my first flight too. May she never lose that smile and excitement at that feeling. I have flown quite a few times now, and it never gets old. Love landings too.
I don’t remember my first flight :( I was 5 month old, and had many takeoffs each year since then, so there’s nothing like my first flight… it was never something special to fly
@@DreamOfFlying I can see that. If you start off as a baby, and do it all the time, then yeah, it would become mundane. For me, I've flown quite a few times but not regularly, so it's always exciting. And the first time, I was a teenager, so there you go.
@@BlueRidgeCritter I’d just really love to experience it as something special, which it really is! It’s one of the most unnatural places a human can be at! Maybe if I ever get to go to space I’ll know how it feels like!
I grew up flying so it never really bothered me or I guess I never really had the shock experience of it. But seeing these videos of people taking their first flights, I could only imagine how scary it must feel or weird lol
i really like this video ... my son had the same reaction a few years ago. He was more fascinated by all the noises, doing ok till it was full power and he grabbed the arm rest like she did and then it was a big smile. He said he didnt realise it was so powerful!
I was 1 year old the first time I’ve flown now I am 12 years old. I still remember so many flights of my life I’ve went on 100+ planes and I still remember the feeling of the first time being on a plane, good luck! ❤
I was 7 when i took my first flight although when i was younger i used to enjoy turbulence and the engine roar when taking off. Nowadays I am too scared of the vibration of the cabin while taking off
I am 9 years old and turning 10 and I had a flight to Australia and now I'm going back to my country NZ and that was my first ever flight My first ever one was a few months old but I was sleeping the whole ride and I don't remember anything anyway so that was a beautiful memory of a 3 hour flight and I'm going to make a new memory. ❤
She is so cute. I remember my first flight. It was 6 years ago to Tunisia, with my Aunt, Uncle and cousin. I was sitting next to cousin and we were laughting so hard. Even flight crew started smiling, it sas such a nice moment
I was 12 years old when my grandparents took me on my 1st time on a airplane trip. I was scared to death but was also VERY Exciting. It was on a UAL 727. I remember when we stopped in Salt Lake city the flight crew let me sit in the right seat. Years after that I worked as a Security Coordinator at IAD for UAL during 911.
First time I went flying, the girl in front of me closed the window cover which was actually my window. I mean I understand it if you fly a lot and don't care to see it but at least leave it open for take off and don't just close my window without asking.
This is a very nice video..I remember flying the first time when I was 10...it was on the boeing jumbo 747 TWA to italy..the flight attendants and captain would walk around the plane and hand out wings to all the little kids on board..this was in 1973...this video brings back those wonderful memories..
My first take off was when I was 3 I can remember it vividly I was that one annoying kid that screamed on the plane. I was screaming and I didn’t stop until my mom gave me some milk cus I actually thought I was in the process of dying during the take off
you don't need to do that taking off, as the plane gradually rises, so air pressure is easily handled by your ears. it's in landing though, especially after a long time at 30,000 to 40,000 feet, that you need to yawn frequently, chew gum, etc to slowly release the pressure.
@@thomasjsanford4369It’s mostly in the 777, 737, A320 and 747 series, But you can’t beat the quietness of the A350, 787, A380, A330NEO, A320Neo family and A340 series. They still do plug your ears but not that much.
@@freedom_in_india__pop your ears helps thought I have never flown on a commercial flight just in a 6 seater plane. So it it may be different for commercial
Does anyone know what the climbing after liftoff feels like? Does the speed make anybody sick or give them a heart attack? Please answer my questions. Thank you very much.
It’s an -800. Based on the model of seat pictured here (non-adjustable head rest and very basic looking arm rest) this is definitely Southwest Airlines, which only flies -700s and -800s. The majority of their -700s have square windows on both the inside and outside, where these are rounded on the inside and squared off on the outside. Correct me if I’m wrong, but don’t all the 737 NG series (600-900 + 900ER) have the same engines? I always thought that the loudness was based on where you were seated, the throttle level, and the wing flaps and gear configuration.
I’m petrified of flying and I’m going on a plane tomorrow from Liverpool to Tenerifeim extremely nervous and we’re flying with easy jet it’s fine on the air I just have take off and landing although with landing I’m just glad I survived lol and I have a whole holiday ahead of me before I need to do it again I also hate how it’s constantly looks like the plane is always going up it’s never really flat and that kinda just yeah but anyways lol
