What she did with that variation is so beautiful and stunning I'm sure falling in love again with a ballerina! What stood out for me was the natural strength and elegance in the adagio work, quite frankly, those ROCK solid balances are some of the best I have ever seen and something I wasn't expecting. Her feminine glamour and beauty of movement is a quality I worship in a ballerina, and she has it. The Paquita tempos are the slowest I ever saw in the famous variation, and kudos to the conductor who followed her to perfection. He must be in love with her too!. @R. Tolmach thanks for the explanation - I'd forgotten this comment completely! And yes, she's a lovely dancer, and strong to dance this slowly with such control. My concern was really with the composer... Tchaikovsky was off the boil with this one! Mendelsson wrote brilliant fairy music!!

и даже это не портит впечатления ни на мгновенье, не забывай что феи - настоящие, и забавные и озорные )
