Thank you Mike. It's supposed to be warming up later in the week here in SW Virginia. I might have to get out and do a little ride. It always helps the old soul for sure. Take care, Ed
My mother was in assisted living for 18 months and she was given excellent care, but there were still things I had to do for her as well. So I totally understand what you're experiencing. I hope she is comfortable in her new environment and gets along really well. I will be praying that things go well for both of you, that you are able to take care of her needs and are able to take time for yourself as well. God bless you and your family.
Thanks for the ride, Ed!!! I'm glad to see you on the tri glide again, and hopefully your health keeps improving! Merry Christmas to you and your family!!!
Hey Jim...yeah they are expensive for sure. But I knew that if I was going to continue to ride I had to go to 3 wheels. Jim hope you and your family have a wonderful and Merry Christmas and may the New Year bring each of ya'll what you need. Most Respectfully, Ed
Ed, Great video as always Shipmate! Glad to see you getting some saddle time in this late in the season. I've had my Tri Glide out for a short ride a couple times over the past couple weeks.
Good morning Shipmate!! Greg it's cold here this morning though...whew! Greg I hope you and yours have a great and wonderful Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year. Take care Greg, and ride safe brother. Respectfully, Ed
How great to her your voice. The wife and I made it to VAMM '22 where I had told her we were gonna meet you, lol. But, as it turned out, you and your Dr had different plans. We still look forward to meetin y'all one day hopefully before we get rid of our '21 Triglide(?), lol. Thanks for the ridealong!
Good morning Ron. I sure would like to make it to VAMM 23 for sure. But we'll see how life progresses. You take care and ride safe. Hoping you and yours have a blessed Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year. Respectfully, Ed
@@TriGlideEd BACK ATCHA my Friend! Keep leadin the way into adventure-filled maturity, paving the way for others out of the "accepted" perceptions of aging . . . we too easily succumb to! Yeah, now that we're in our 70's, we still may encounter "speedbumps" that slow us down for a moment . . . BUT seeing you back on your trike just tells me loudly that with the right attitude life's bumps can be ridden OVER, and are NOT STOP SIGNS, lol!!
Good morning Mr Ed glad to see you back first your back and then your eyes. we made the Blue Ridge Pky in August and loved it so we were in your neck of the woods
Hey John! Yes sir you were close if you were anywhere near Mabry's Mill or Roanoke. I do enjoy the Parkway for sure. You can't be in a hurry and that's a good thing. Take care and ride safe. Respectfully, Ed
It’s great to see you back brother Ed! I’m with you when it comes to bbq. East, West, North or South… as long as it’s hot, cut me in or cut it out, I like it all. As far as grades go, I got one F in my life and it was in Spanish 2. My mom had given me my first car which was a 1975 Dodge Colt with the understanding that if I ever got an F in school that car was gonna the cost me $1000. Well you guessed it…that was a $1000 F, paid in full from box boy wages. Thanks for another great ride. You’ve been missed sir. God bless👍🏼😎
Hello brother Rick! Always good to hear from you. And Rick I'm serious as I can be when I say the only thing I would change if I could go back in time would be to do better in school. Cause it does affect everything else in life I believe. Rick I sure hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year! May God continue to bless you and yours. Most respectfully, Ed
I have to say it has been a minute! One of my bikes is a Tri Glide 2021. Took it all around New England up to Maine for a ten day trip. Sorry! In regards to the medical issues that you have been experiencing. Just had trigger finger surgery stitches out tomorrow. They are going to replace the knuckle in my right hand and take the bone out of my middle finger replace both with some new Frankenstein type material. Glad to see you back and out with your gang. Nothing better. Right? Enjoy your video's! Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Hey New England Biker. And you are correct, there's just something good about riding together with good people and good friends. It makes one feel...good and that's a great feeling. I wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year. Most Respectfully, Ed
Late seeing your video, have lots going on right now but it is so good to see you were able to get out on the Tri Glide. I was starting to worry you had a set back, you are in our prayers and hope you and your family have a Blessed and Merry Christmas! I look forward to to your next outing and video. God Bless
@@TriGlideEd Hello Ed, I hope things are going well for you and your family and your are surviving the winter weather ok. I hope you have an early spring and look forward to your next update. Take care and God Bless…Lee
@@leewelchons Good morning Lee. Things are going fair. And we'll accept fair right now. I got my Tri-Glide inspected last week. It was a short ride but still a good feeling ride for sure. We've had a lot of rain and wind this winter...so far. Rain yesterday and the wind is howling this morning for sure. Lee thanks so much for your messages and God has blessed us for sure. Sometimes we cloud our minds but God is good! Take care Lee and I wish you and yours a very blessed day. Most respectfully, Ed
@@TriGlideEd It is good to receive your reply. as a Florida boy, when I moved to North Carolina about this time of the year I would be so ready for spring; it got old seeing the trees bare and the world so brown. Spring could not come fast enough; I always felt like Spring was literally a renewing of life for me. Now that I have retired and moved back to Florida, I miss the changing of the seasons and many other things about living in NC that I overlooked or took for granted. I know you have had a challenging past year and I sure hope the year ahead will be a great one for you. Stay well and hope to see you out riding that Tri Glide when the weather is right.
great to see you back in the saddel Ed. Was worried that you had run into complacations from your back surgery. Really do enjoy watching your videos and was wondering what type of equipment your use for them. I've had mine a few months now and really do enjoy the ride. Well thanks for sharing these videos and wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Hello John. I appreciate you watching my videos for sure. I have a GoPro Hero 8 Black. I have the GoPro 3.5 Mic adapter that I use with my GoPro. The mic I use is a $15.00 mic off of Amazon. My helmet is an LS2 Horizon modular. I hope this helps. Merry Christmas to you and yours and may the New Year be kind to all. Most Respectfully, Ed
Hello Ed. Hope you're feeling better as each day goes by. Haven't contacted you lately and wanted to see how you're progressing with your back and eye surgeries. Road up to Roanoke Harley Davidson today and came by your way to take the scenic route. Almost stopped by to say hello, but didn't feel right stopping by unannounced. Beautiful ride through that area. Again, I hope you are doing great and hope to see some new videos as soon as you feel comfortable and can hit the road. Keep the shiney side up young man!
Hello TG. Well it was a great day to ride for sure. Since my surgeries my sister has moved back down this way from Ohio where she lived for a little over 40 years. She's in an Assisted Living in Salem, Virginia so a lot of my time is now spend assisting her. I hope to get out to ride as soon as I can. You take care, have fun but ride safe. Respectfully, Ed
He sure did windsurfed1. But I don’t blame him. The dealership gave him a great deal and he used the proceeds to pay his house off, 3 years early. Now he has more money in his pocket each month.
Glad to see you back on the road Ed. Sure have missed your videos! Hope you stay healthy. You take care and Glide on in the beautiful part of this country we live in.
Nice to see you back on the road Ed,enjoy it. We’re pretty much at the end of the riding season here in the north of the UK,but it’ll be spring again soon. Take care, have a great Christmas & a happy new year.
Glad to be back Malcolm. I always tell people when Fall arrives around here in these mountains of SW Virginia, I start looking forward to SPRING! My wife tells me to enjoy each season(and of course she's correct). Take care Malcolm and a very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to you and yours. Most Respectfully, Ed
Looks like a great ride Ed. By the way, the mid-step floorboards are expensive but well worth the money. Much easier to get on and off. Have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year Ed!
Hello Bryan! I'm doing pretty good with the old back. The only thing that really hurts is when I have to bend over doing work. I can use a backpack leaf blower all day and it doesn't bother me. But weedeating or anything where there is a bend in the back hurts like the dickens. Thanks for asking. Take care, Ed
