Hello Twins! Oh yeah I really enjoyed our ride and also the other roads around that area! I appreciate you watching. It's been colder than a well diggers butt in January around here but sure hope we can get some good weather...soon! Have fun but ride safe. Respectfully, Ed

Good to see not everyone drives like a maniac on the road. I upgraded the suspension to legend from and back. It makes a smoother ride and I can take turns faster. It costs a lot but I figured this is the last Harley for me as I am getting older.
Always enjoy your vids. Would love to be a Buffet Bandit! Rode the Tail and The Back of the Dragon in 2022 on a 2021 TriGlide. Safe riding to you and the rest of the Buffet Bandits. You ever come to WV, look me up. There’s some great riding here!
Hello John. We actually went to Canan (sp?) Valley a few years ago and spent several days. It was in June or July (I think) and the morning we left it was COLD! Myself and Shortcut had some good warm gear but Harvey and Mike didn't :-) They couldn't wait to get off that mountain :-) Take care John and thank you for watching my videos. It's much appreciated. Respectfully, Ed
i ended up with a triglide bought new 2012 for the wife as she rides it, done the tail in 2017 when went down to fl from wi, do believe have vid of it on my channel. for sure about them crouch rockets, one passed use and wasn't too far they were off the road, emergency services were there before we got to it. i think all the roads in the blue ridge are just as good if not better than the tail. with the handling when asked i tell them it's like being on a huge ATV but one can out ride 2 wheels in corners once learn how to be that aggressive.
Ed we took the ride from southeast Texas to go ride the tail of the Dragon it was a nice trip first time trike trip we went from hwy129 to deals gap cautiously but on the way back out we had to stop and let my wife rest she was getting sick to her stomach so i slowed down a little. my 2021 Tri glide handled very well . Beautiful Country! I think I told you the first ride down the hwy i almost killed myself trying to ride like i did on my ultra limited that i traded in on the trike learned how to ride all over again No problems on Vacation though IT was great rode 2700 miles on that trip not our longest but our most comfortable !
James that's great. It's amazing the feeling of comfort and safety we get on our Tri-Glides! Glad you had a good ride on the Dragon. Now you'll have to ride the Back of the Dragon. Take care James, have fun but ride safe. Respectfully, Ed
You did about a 600 mile round trip.Glad you had a safe trip.I live about 150 miles south by southwest of The Dragon. Eastern Tn./Western NC is my favorite place to ride for short trips. God bless .
It is amazing what you notice on a bike! You’ll travel a road you’ve been on a hundred times in a car or truck, but you’ll notice something new on your bike!
Another great video Ed! Glad you folks had a enjoyable and safe ride. I've been thru the Dragon on a number of occasions over the years. I finally got my 10" mini Apes installed on my 2016 Tri Glide last week and absolutely love the improvement in comfort and steering. Nice to be able to sit with my lower back against my back rest and be able to reach the bars without stretching my arms straight out.
Hello Ed, this was great to see your ride. I was at VAMM21 and we road the tail of the dragon it was wet roads but it was a great time. I loved at the beginning where you said " that is why some eat their young" I always worry about having enough gas. Got to love the rain,. 💕NonnaGrace
Nice video Ed, I heard a lot about the tail of the dragon over the years but never really saw any pictures or videos until I saw yours. 318 curves in 11 miles is pretty tight. To everyone a little rain must fall in their life.
windsurfed1 it's a great ride! Also around Deal's Gap are A LOT OF EXCELLENT roads for a motorcycle. I know it's a long way from WA state but wow what a ride! Take care, Ed
I rode the Tail 3 different times on two wheels. Last December I bought a new 2020 Tri Glide. I'm planning on doing the Tail again in 2022 on the trike. Nice video.
Hi Ed. Great video. Is your Tri Glide front end stock or did you put in a different rake or Easy Steer? I've heard that the stock front end is kind of stiff and hard to turn. I just retired after being in and working for the Marine Corps for 47 years and I want to ride from California to my sisters house in Bristol Tn. My knees are getting real creaky and I don't think I want to try it on my two wheeler. I'm looking at buying a trike with a trailer and seeing some places that I've passed by in a car or plane. If you can ride the hills of home and the Dragon's Tail with a stock front end I probably won't spend the money to upgrade. Happy riding.
Semper Fi Clyde from this old sailor! My 2020 Tri-Glide is a stock front end. I've ridden these hills and mountains around here and in NC and TN and didn't have any issues. Clyde I did a video last year....I think? about accessories and I also show how to do, not a lean, but a slight turn of your shoulders to help out in the steering of the Tri-Glide. Here is the link, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0ReLMeQlE9s.html, to that video if you care to watch. I don't think you will have any issues. Take care Clyde and ride safe. Enjoy your trip! Respectfully, and old squid, Ed
So, I was in a motorcycle accident in April 2020, I can't ride 2 wheels anymore so I test drove the Tri-Glide and Spyder. The Spyder was WAY more stable in the corners but the Tri-Glide sounds and looks better. Having 2 wheels up front you can corner just as fast as a 2 wheel bike and never feel like you're going to tip. AND the Spyder is WAY cheaper.. 😡 I'm in a pickle, do I want to look better and sound better, or do I want to feel more stable? I'm leaning towards the Spyder because I'm 38
Hello crockett11000 yes sir I still have stock bars. I would love to have 12" bars pulled back a bit but...money money money!! So still stock for now. Take care, Ed
JeepMaster, I really enjoy mine. Like I said, I feel like a young buck in my 50's when I ride :-) You take care and hope you get a Tri-Glide if that's your desire. Remember, Have fun & ride safe. Take care, Ed
My wife and I recently picked up our 2021 TriGlide after 42 wonderful years of 2 wheel riding. Very comfortable, easy to park, easy to ride after a adjustment period. No longer having to worry about coming to a stop on a gravel road and loosing your footing. We really enjoy it tremendously!
The handling on your TG looks superb. Looks to me like you could have ridden it faster than some of your 2 wheel buddies! I’m in the uk and need to find a demo to rest ride, but they’re super rare over here. Thanks for the great vid 👍👍
Mal I appreciate you watching. I don’t think I can keep up with my 2 wheel friends, but, they ain’t gonna run off and leave me that’s for sure. Take care, Ed
Morning Tracy. In regards to trail braking, the answer would be yes and it also depends on the curve and the severity of the curve. On the Tail of the Dragon, some of the curves are what I called "Kiss your own "butt" curves or switchbacks, you best be applying a lot of brake before the curve but once into the curve come off the brake and accelerate. Also Tracy I've mentioned to a few subscribers that I sold my Tri-Glide due to back surgery. Most respectfully, Ed
I love your videos I just recently bought a 21 tri glide, I have been seeing some videos on brake problems with the 19 and 20 tri glides, Do you know if that problem has been fixed on the 2021 tri glide s? Thanks for any Information you can give me. Tri glide Rabbit
I appreciate you watching Jerome! I've read a little about an issue that some experienced but I haven't had any problems. I will try to remember to ask Saturday when my friend Harvey and I ride over to our local HD dealer. Thanks again, Ed
Wow! I just have a Sena SMH10S and a Sena Calvary half helmet. Send them back if you ain’t happy. They cost to much to not be satisfied. You take care and ride safe.
