For anyone wondering what RAMADAN is..... A month were MUSLIMs fast from sunrise to sunset for a whole month. . If on period or you are not able to fast due to health or other valid reasons that you are not permitted to fast! . Ramadan goes 10 days back every year . Also the reason to fast it to realise your blessings and have a feel for what the poor go through . This month you also have to try and be extra kind and make it your habit for after Ramadan as well . Fasting also have MANY benefits which can be Googled Finally Ramadan is a beautiful spiritual journey which teaches you patience and make you more grateful and thankful, also it's a great way for everyone to unite!!! +Noah Beiro it is like lent except in Lent we have the option to fast, devoted Catholics like my mother and grandmother fast on lent. But mostly from my childhood I recall during lent we sacrifice something we enjoyed during lent, the last time I celebrated lent (2011) I gave up carbs.. That didn't last long. But it is similar and the aspects are similar between both holidays

Ramadhan this year is so different, I feel like there's no ramadhan in this year, you know bcz of the coronavirus, we can't gather in same place with many people, stay at home, social distancing, phisycal distancing, so it means we should pray at home, there's no terawih this year, no street food before maghrib. I hope that coronavirus will go away soon or I hope can skip this year

if non Muslims don't understand the period one, it's because when a woman gets her period she doesn't fast as long as her period is going. but she has to fast those days before the next Ramadan.

Just an FYI because a lot of people are asking why she's excited to get her period, in Islam girls get a break from fasting & the obligatory prayers when on their period (& during pregnancy) to make it easy for them. That's why the girl in the vid said, "No, I'm on my period" when asked why she wasn't fasting :P

honestly, respect for muslims who survive ramadan. us jews have full day fasts, but surviving a month when you can only eat before sunrise and after sunset is very impressive.

I respect Muslims but I don't think The Redeem Christian church of God get enough recognition. we begin each year by fasting which means we don't eat at all until 7 pm at night and that is for people who break their fast. some people don't eat for three days straight but have to break for medical reasons. we do this for the specified amount of dates. last year was 100 days but this year was 40 days. Happy end of Ramadan for Muslims though.

You see I'm so hungry because yesterday my mum woke me up and told me to have Suhoor before we start fasting and I told her oh no need I already ate. The problem is I don't remember anything of what I said. Today she told me that's what I said during Suhoor and that I was totally awake and sitting down and when I was speaking my eyes were full circled and big. I guess I was sleep walking and just spoke unconsciously. 🤦‍♀️Even other days than Ramadan that happens to me. Wow and now I'm starving from hunger.😅

Honestly despite having a different religion. Mad respect for people who can dedicate themselves to their god like this. I'm a Christian and we do fast but the longest I've done is a day and I know other religions fast. As a Christian I don't fast out of fear of what will happen if I don't but to show respect to God. So I hope anyone else fasting is the same way. Idk no one believes in there religion bc they think there wrong. So respect to people that dedicate themselves fully to there god.

the way I was raised, I forced myself not to eat in front of a Muslim during Ramadhan (not a bad thing) because I respected them... Even at school i would run out of class into the corridor under the stairs to drink water... sometimes, I fast with them! yasssss! PS- humanity is real!

Meghan Leathers hemm let me think, before fasting we eat until dawn, after break dawn we pray and do the things that we need to do or go back to sleep. I don't know, somehow when fasting on Ramadhan we got a magic power. I cannot really explain it, you just need to try it. Wake up about an hour before dawn or it's about before 5 o'clock, eat nutritious food, drink much water, after dawn stop eat until six or seven o'clokck, and then breakfasting with something sweet and then you can eat what ever you want. Fasting could be a choice to diet. Lose weight with healthy way. I'm sorry my answer doesn't really hit your question but yeah, a few weeks later is Ramadhan and i'm very excited😃😃😃 . God bless you.
