I love that you share your thought process when approaching areas of the river you’re scouting, or when other problems arise ( suit getting cut ) how you’re going to solve these issues. Love the segments of you singing too!! 👍🎶🎶
I love everything about your videos. The scenery nature animals everything. But I'm going to have to finish watching this video tomorrow night. Tampa Florida had a hurricane yesterday and long cleanup today I'm exhausted we'll finish tomorrow. But keep them videos coming . Thank you
This may be one of my favorite series you've done so far! It's hard to compare, but the views, rapids, and skills you've accrued are just getting better and better. Big thanks for your continued hard work, good attitude, and love for adventure. I am loving Canada more and more.
Legendary stuff man. Felt your fear throughout that whole day, so REAL especially when you're alone. Massive respect for your decision making, mental and physical fortitude. Just amazing.
Epic stuff man! You are truley worthy of having "Adventurer" in your channel title. Thanks not only for such a well shot documentery, but for all of the insight that it takes to pull something like this off. Such a great piece of the world that most will never have the privlage of standing in, and this really takes you there!!!
Jim you are a very STRONG and determined man. You just keep going and going. I've said it before, no one I would want to be out there with then you or Tori of course. Love this series. ✌️ ❤️
This series couldn't have come at a better time. I'm recovering from a pretty serious surgery and am enjoying (as always) watching. Thanks for what you do. Your work is a gift.
Hello from the UK. Another excellently executed film. I like how you cover all aspects on this channel. Home stuff, solo, wife and kids, brother & dogs.
The hell if a hurricane will keep me from watching Jim Baird!!! No internet, no problem. Find a hotspot and download it then take it home an watch. Thanks for entertaining me during this really depressing time Jim! 🌀 ⚡ 📺 😍
Loving this series. Thanks for sharing. your honesty and humility-sharing your fears and concerns so openly in the face of hazard is so refreshing and reflects just a true depth of character. what you share does not need to be embellished. just a helluva guy.
man, I love how you take the time to record your breakdown of strategy approaching the rapids. learning so much listening to you strategize. love that kind of stuff. Also love it when you speak about your gear choices. more of that please :)
Jim, I am truly enjoying your Yukon adventure. The videography and production has surely grown. How blessed you are, God’s beauty is magnificent. Thank you for sharing your great outdoor adventures. Goodness and health to you and your beautiful family.
Results are in…Jim Baird’s narration and cinematography will fill any size screen with adventure and knowledge! Well done Jim, you keep outdoing yourself!!!
I’ve sadly strayed far from the days when my canoe was my only “furniture” in my tiny Duluth studio. This series is waking me back up to being outside and tuned back in to something other than screens and deadlines. Thanks again Jim!!
Watching in the dark here on PEI as we wait for the power to come back after the Hurricane. I love how you capture the strategy and challenge of paddling in this kind of river and rapids. Great filming and story telling.
Words Fail to Express, the Admiration for You !! when I & others in my Unit & other N.A.T.O. Personnel, were gathered around & were watching this Vid. As, I knew I had to share it !!:))) (brought it down on Sat.) You are a Remarkable Man & Represent Canada, The Yukon & her Wonderments, more than words can Ever express here !! ~~ Thank-you !! & The Highest of Salutes !!!
I’m loving this show. I really appreciate the expertise being made accessible to the layman and I admire your adventurous spirit! Best show on the Internet!!!!😊
Slick Penelope has to be your bestie in bear country. I’d want all the slicks if I were outback. I’m scared shitless of bears. Such a fun video. Thanks for all who sacrificed. I just started reading, The Company, The Rise and Fall of the Hudson Bay Empire.
This is powerful I love these kind of videos, enjoy watching the beauty of Mother Nature once again Jim thanks for bringing us along I really enjoy watching I like to say that it makes me feel like if I'm there good job be safe🙋♂️🙋♂️🙋♂️
How much did all your gear weigh this trip? Sure looked HEAVY!! Just love these videos! I learn so much about the outdoors, canoeing, and Canadian history ,all while enjoying the fantastic scenery and engaging story telling. These videos are always a 10/10!
This is the reality in wilderness - no show! Love it! And you film it - I know how much work it is, in this situation it costs a lot of energie. One of the best on youtube!! Greetings from germany. (your film is much better than my english)
Amazing country and very cool adventure - glad to see your patch held up. I’ve done the exact same thing - nicked through the pant leg with a saw… tried to repair cut with a product called Tenacious Tape which is absolute junk lol - looking forward to the next episode cheers
@@JimBairdAdventurer looking forward to it, the thumbnail with the nugget the other week had me pumped! Love watching all your big summer adventures, fan from alone
I'm glad you hadn't, as you said, pushed further, arrived at camp beat, and then grabbed a granola bar for supper after setting up camp. Had you done that, yes, you would have covered more distance but we wouldn't have benefitted from your camp site, its scenic surroundings and the enjoyment your shared of 'stopping to smell the roses'. What I'm trying to say is, it was nice to see you relax for a while and enjoy yourself! Another epic episode, Jim. I love Thursdays! Lol.
Jim, it would really be cool to have your dog along? It’s always great to have their company adding enrichment to your dialog…etc. Terrific to follow you and see country that I will never see in my lifetime. Go Jim!!!
I have been reading about the Voyageurs and how music was important to them - they sang as they paddled etc. I felt the music for this video just fit perfectly. I find I think of the early explorers when I watch your videos and have such an appreciation for what they faced. You are truly alone in the wilderness and I admire your courage and honesty.
What I liked most were your awesome paddling skills! As Johnny Cash said to Tom Petty, "You're a good man to ride the river with." Also loved all the BEEPS!! 😆👍😎🇨🇦🌊📷🔥🏕🛶⚘
You are an extremely high level canoe tripper!! I don't know of any other solo tripper that does what you do and records the trip at the same time. I continue to look forward to any of your and/or Ted's videos.
Such beautiful country and a great journey, and we know you have not dumped which is great can't wait for the rest of the journey . Thank you for taking us along and stay safe and healthy
Another great one! The scenery is amazing , but still loving the rapids 👍 Seeing the canoe split in half would finish me 😨 Can't wait for the next one!
Another fantastic video! I'd say as scary as it is to watch you maneuver those rapids, I'd say my favorite parts are the intense moments going down the rapids, then hear you celebrate your success!
I like you being over cautious and foing proper scouting. I'd rather see you make it out late and safe than not at all! Great job sending it JB! The stew looked tasty!
YEAAAAAH !!! E.4, after watching this episode, I was hungry, so I went to the grocery store and asked the cashier if she had any RUBaroo stew in the can, and she thought I was hitting on her and she called the police !!! They threw me out of the store and I went home hungry.
It's a beautiful day in paradise 🌅Awesome blues music, thanks for all you do for your followers. I really enjoy the nature that you travel through and all the effort that you put into your videos, amazing adventure that you having..Blessed.That wasn't so bad now, was it!! Running those rapids. Brave man..😎👍🏼
Truly an amazing adventure! My favorite part of this episode is the tactical thinking that went into running the rapids. Well done. The excitement of getting it right is really invigorating to watch. Its cool to learn some of the history of the trails and surrounding areas. I think a full on movie or TV special presented by you about some of these subjects would be awesome!
