On this canoe tour we spend 11 days in the wilderness of the Saimaa region (Finland). In our two kayaks we paddle from island to island in this breathtakingly beautiful lake landscape. We spend the nights in our tents and cook our food on the campfire. Far away from civilization we are allowed to fish, swim and live in nature. Our bushcraft skills are constantly being challenged.
Lake Saimaa and the Lake District also make this survival adventure a feast of beautiful sights, as the landscape with its thousands of forested islands and its seemingly endless expanse will never cease to amaze. Every evening we are treated to an epic sunset, which is reflected on blue water and creates incredible plays of light.
