Fani Willis must be stopped! Jail time for this?! Seriously?! Just fire them and take away their teachers license!
@USASecretHistory

So there were 178 educators including 34 principals involved and only 11 go to jail. Does this make any sense? The superintendent was the leader of this conspiracy.

Sad? Wtf? This is anger inducing. What are you trying to accomplish by trying to convince people to feel sorry?

Most educators unfortunately should be doing time in prison.

This has been happening for many of years.People graduating, and teachers passing certain students,lying on their test scores,passing them when they didn't earn it .State of Oregon high schools need to go back and investigatie for some students they gave diploma's to,and didn't even have to have conferences at Roosevelt high school.And colleges.

20 years is to harsh. 3 months would have been enough time in prison.

How sad that people who are supposed to be setting an example stoop to this. I would have been one of the whistle blowers! Now their homes, education and jobs are ruined. it would be wonderful if the judicial system went after those in high places like this.

All the students were probably gifted athletes! Do we expect them to practice five hours a day, and STUDY, too??
@Corduroy66

Teachers who know there is cheating going on are under fire. Administrators are trying to threaten them not to whistle blow or they will find themselves out of a job. Who is there to protect these teachers? The government should have a system set up to protect whistleblowers. No one should have to put their career on the line for coming forth with information about test cheating. It is going on in Illinois and I am sure elsewhere, too.

if I was in that sort of position. I would quit on the spot. No questions asked. I think too many teachers are too accommodating.

Underperforming students are a direct result of poor parenting. As a result, teachers and administrators with poor character are pushed to their moral limits when their pay is in jeopardy.

What is the point of making students out to be smarter than they are. They will get found out eventually. Judging by a lot of college students i have seen on RU-vid who are as thick as s---t it happens a lot unless you don't have to be that smart tyo get into college in U.S

Or you can hold students responsible for cheating. No HS will rescind a diploma because they are scared to do so. It is right if they do it but until they grow some balls the school system won't be worth a damn.
@Ahijahprince

You certainly have a chip on your shoulder... Did you hear of the recent SAT cheating scandal, including so many well-known affluent folks? They were all white! Cheating happens everywhere. Don't close your eyes when it doesn't fit your narrative, and place emphasis on the people being black here...
