The what your car says about you is a cool and adds something different to your usual content. I like how you diversify your content with different segments so it's not Monotonous. I don't think I relate to 30% of what you say in the W.Y.C.S.A.Y segment but I like it because I can learn about certain things / nuances in the car community today that may have been different from the past so thanks keep it up. A car that I would recommend is the 1992 CRX Del Sol. The car might not be the best power-wise, but it gets pretty good MPG and are cheap aswell. Not to mention it's a honda, so it will run forever. If you're in a state where you couldn't mod a car, but want something more unique, I definitely recommend the Del Sol.

Got a Mk5 R32 out of high school, less engine potential than GTI but super well put together practical vehicle that is surprisingly quick. Plus tons of room for college stuff and people in the backseat. Also NB and NC Miata’s are a good choice

I got me a 1999 Honda civic four door manual transmission in silver. Paints faded and interior I worked on and detailed everything. Miles were at 162000 I added some new rims. I changed the shift knob I got it my senior year back in 2021 and now I’m enjoying it in my in college year. Price was 800 bucks literally

As a G35 owner. Good luck finding one for 5k that doesn't have high milage, or wasn't beaten into the ground and clapped out. Also take into account the maintenance cost and the fact these cars only run on PREMIUM gas.

In my opinion, there is a better option to replace the foxbody. The s10/S15 is a great platform to ls swap too. And you can get one for 2500$

I remember when I used to watch these videos everyday, I ended up getting my car at 16 now Im working towards my license. I got a ford fusion 2006 for about 1000 and put 500 towards fixing and cleaning up, now it looks good.

A car I would recommend to anyone wanting to get a cool car for a super cheap price is the Mazda 323F BG. While it's FWD and a pretty uninteresting engine, it got pop-up headlights and it's the cheapest car that has that if that's what you want. You can get them for around 1000€. I got mine for 800€ and have been driving it for 2,5 years. Not planning to sell it any time soon.

You can get a 2000-2005 saab 9-5 for really really cheap. Picked mine up for 2k. surprisingly quick, and with an ecu tune you can get it even quicker

A good replacement for the Subaru Legacy are the 2nd gen (SG, 2003-2008) Subaru Foresters! The XT models are the same story of a WRX with a different shell.

If you have a 10k budget go with a used frs/brz I have a frs and this thing has been so reliable and has took me 175k miles with rarely any problems it’s fun to drive(not fast) but there’s many mods for cheap and it’s just an amazing car

This is a OK list. The problem is you are not taking into concertation the cost of repair on some of the cars you mentioned. Euro cars are expensive for parts and labor. Cars like the 3000gt are rare and lots of those parts are starting to be discontinued.

Repairs that you gotta do immediately. Most of these cars ~$5K have been beaten up by teenage kids and they're selling them because the trans is slipping or it's chugging oil. Better off saving more and getting something that hasn't been modded to hell.

for the Lexus GS- my cousin and is brother have both the gs300 and 400- the use them as commuters since its their first car and for highway the 300 sits at 4k rm at 50-60 mph the 400 has lower rpm for the same speed- depends how your using the car tooo jus thought to mention this

Australia has no cheap sports cars at all. Only one left is the 2008 Mitsubishi 380 at 175kw front wheel drive. You can get those for under 5k. Unlike all of these RU-vid videos that say you can get JDM cars for under 5k. Everytime I look everything is 30k plus.
