A visit to one of the oldest and most isolated churches in Wales, Llangelynnin which sits high in the Conway Valley above the villages of Rowen and Henryd
Wedi dysgu cryn dipyn heddiw ‘ma. Doedd gen i’m syniad am tarddiad rhyd a ffordd. Hanes Llys Helig yn diarth i mi cyn heddiw hefyd. Diolch yn fawr gyfaill. 👍👍
Thanks so much for your videos! Love the drone shots in this one. We've walked here from Penmaenmawr a couple of times, which is a lovely walk. I'd also heard that of Helig's court had been flooded, which was why Celynnin and Rhychwyn (and maybe more of their brothers?) had turned to the church. However I'd never heard the story of Gwendud. Thanks again.
Like your channel. Different. Very informative. I live in Rhuddlan. Go out mountain bike riding locally. The channel has sparked an interest in Welsh names. How about doing doing a vlog based on Marion Mills, Marion Cwm, Dyserth, Trelawnydd?
Based on your obvious local knowledge, sure a brilliant vlog could be made on the area. Know that Marion Mills was known as the 'Valley of Mills'. Would look forward too.....
