Real talk. A few extra minutes taking care of the details makes a difference in making you feel good about yourself first and reaping the benefits later. You never know who may be watching.
You made a lot of great hygienic areas to cover. Beautiful women like myself pay attention to ALL of those areas. So thank you for letting the men know these helpful tips. I also will add and recommend that I personally hope that men take time to clean inside their belly buttons and behind their ears after every shower/bath whichever you prefer. Also men, please if you’re going to expose your feet with sandals, get rid of the dead skin on your feet and behind your heels. Please don’t forget to take care of the toenail fungus 🤦🏾♀️. These are all definite turnoffs. Thanks again Style OG for your platform! I appreciate you sharing positivity towards the ladies. You are definitely a high value man. Salute!! ❤️🙏🏽
What’s up my bro Og. I am a stickler on this male grooming. A subject us guy can’t speak enough about. Fellas listen up . Great video my G . Salute my friend
Keeping yourself up to and touching at all times is a must (I always say "I owe it to myself to always stay fly"🤣). It is always a good idea to take care of yourself on a daily basis and not just for the ladies. If you stay ready you don't have to get ready. Outstanding work good Sir! Keep these awesome videos coming...
Maybe you included this one with the back and shoulders tip. But, I make sure the back of my neck is clean and lined up. I notice this area is out of control on SO many guys.
Thing is, most of this I already knew on some level, but O.G did a great job of crystalizing it & laying it out for us. Respect, & thanks for the video!
I’d been searching for a new stylist because my old one said she couldn’t cut my beard due to Chinese virus restrictions. She had been running over it with a #2 blade. Last week It was raggedy as hell but New Guy did a GREAT job on the beard with just scissors and comb. Then without me having to ask, said “let me get these “ and got nose ear and brows. AMAZING how much better-it feels when they do a complete job.
You are so right OG. I had to dismiss a dude who was not keeping up with his dental hygiene. Why do a lot of M neglect their teeth? No one wants to be around anyone that stinks M or W.
Unlike Women, us Men hardly ever talk about grooming. Maybe because it's perceived as "Emasculate" but man I'd rather look on point and perceived as emasculate over looking like bigfoot.
Great video as usual! All good points. I would add clean smelling and looking clothes, preferably ironed when appropriate, and clean well groomed hair with a nice haircut.
Cologne I spray a light spray on my neck and a light spray on my wrist just for caution like you said I’d rather you not be able to smell it than to overuse it you never want to be the guy people are walking past him trying to see if it’s you that overused.
OG good pointers on the cologne, me it's just a couple sprays behind the ears and then a refresher spray later in the afternoon. My choice for the summer is Dolce Gabbana "Light Blue" get many compliments from the ladies as well. Keep it fresh my brother.
Also.. Take care of your feet too mitigate any foot odor... Ladies don't like when a man takes his shoes off and its fumigation time with your feet... Get them pedi if you must.
OG nailed it as usual! An addition to the moisturizing topic (lips, hands, face) could be the scalp. Gotta shampoo/condition regularly to keep the dandruff at bay. Keep up the good work my brotha!
Very true brother! Great beard care also involves using beard balm and beard oils the way you'd use for your head's hair. I have a goatee yet never take it for granted despite it being a small quantity of facial hair for the ladies.👌🏽
It's very interesting, I've seen so many videos recently debating the number of sprays/overspraying. I usually go with 2 sprays. Thinking of seeing if a spray or two more would be too much. Could never see how more than 5 would be a good idea, though, even outside.
💯👏💯👏💯👏! Great video here! As usual the information is a wealth of knowledge that any man who is smart will infuse into his daily habits and routines. The first tip about clean Fingernails and hands is a great starting point because if a man has raggedy, unkempt hands, you can rest assured that women will notice. Drawing from the information that I have obtained from the women that I know and they cross the spectrum of race and ethnicity, they all are in agreement on one thing: A man with nasty, unkempt hands and dirty fingernails will NEVER be able to physically touch them at anytime! Most men have been conditioned to feel that if their hands are soft, well kept and clean that it's "prissy" or "feminine" which judging by the number of grooming products made for men by Dove, etc., is a lie. Shea Moisture is a company that makes grooming products specifically designed for Black men's hair, skin, shower and specific shaving needs. Taking care of the way you look and your presentation to others and the world via your grooming habits, says alot about how you respect yourself and what does Hall of Famer Deion "Prime Time" Sanders always say: "When you look good, you feel good and you play good!"
Thanks Jeff we definitely need to keep up on our grooming if we're single or married. All the things you mentioned are great, taking care of out feet is also important I don't think any woman wants a man with ugly feet. For the lips I suggest Vaseline lip therapy. Saaaaalute!
Great vid! A while ago I started using oils as an alternative to lotions, such as Jojoba oil. Something for some folks to consider, but learn and use what works with your body.
Not exactly personal grooming but: the ladies will look at your shoes, regardless of style, make sure they’re clean, as they will make further assumptions about you based on the state of them.
Hey man I use a machine to shave mine instead of a razor cuz isn't really grown fully as a young man who is 17 its just weird for me to have a fully groomed (shaped?) beard but your advice is simply but really good man enjoy your content 😊
Man as you were leading into the first point I was like "I bet he's gonna say fingernails" and BOOM! Funny story. The woman I am currently dating, the first thing she did when we sat down at the restaurant is take my hand and look at my fingernails. My dad always dropped that OG wisdom on me when I was younger and he always told me "son, you never want to touch a woman with dirty fingernails." I made sure to have my nails lookin prim and proper before that first date!
A lot of fathers are absent..a lot of young fathers never had a father to discuss these matters ,a lot of fathers are unaware of many of these issues. But that is no excuse for not knowing. If we want to know how and ask you tube ..the information will pop up.Its what we desire to discover we will. " I don t know" is no longer a valid excuse.By the way ,i was describing myself with the absentee father.I am a lot more confident thanks to this channel.
