So enjoy your videos. I don’t sew as much I use to (now 80) but love seeing your ideas. Still have a great sewing room, 14 machines that make me happy . Set up so if I want to sew for a while I don’t have to dig out a machine. Wish I was closer to you so I give you my stuff hat you could share with others. Keep up the great videos, they do make a difference. Hugs, D
It's funny that you had the cookie tin. My 45 yo daughter was here and saw my dansk cookie tin on the counter (with cookies in it. She said she remembers being traumatized as a child when she opened the tin and saw sewing supplies!
in June 23, I found a miniature Dansk cookie tin, about 6" diameter x about 1.5" ; at the dollar tree. I bought it to make a mini sewing kit. The trauma of "Is it cookies or a sewing kit? Is real. At least, for us Gen Xers and previous generations . 😊
My mom bought me a Danish cookie tin, full of cookies, to use as a tin for my embroidery supplies. She also got me a magnetic needle minder that is a tiny cookie tin. It made me so happy. We used to have at least 1 large cookie tin for our holiday get togethers when I was a kid.
Found your videos during quarantine, you helped me make comfortable masks! Now my life has settled into my new normal and I’ve rediscovered you💖. Now I’m doing “normal” projects and you are always a big help😊thanks for being you.
@@marcysikes You are very welcome. It is also good for going around the knobs on the dash and the ledges of the windows. I like to keep a wooden back scratcher between the seats too. Not only is it good to have when you get one of the random itchy spots on your back, but it works very well for reaching something that is on the floor all the way over on the passenger's side.
My mom used to keep her needles, thread and all in an old cookie tin. I still have it ! Price tag still on some old items (like zipper or card of buttons) unbelievable how prices have gone up.
Use a hair dryer to loosen the glue, the sticker will come right off. I would also put a lazy susan to the bottom of that beautiful white piece. It's very pretty for the dollar store
Thank you so much Tim, I really really enjoyed watching you take us all through those great products from the Dollar Tree store. I enjoy all your videos no matter what. Please stay safe and well too xxxx Mags ❤❤❤❤
Found all straight pins. They were sharp and pointed. Straight pins bought at dollar store many had to be thrown out because they have no point on them. Go look. Totally junk. Don't work. My 10 year old grand child show me.
I hope someone told you you can't play blu ray discs in a DVD player, you actially need blu ray player. But they have been getting more affordable. Maybe one on sale at Best Buy?
I wish I’d known that! Lol. I have a huge laser and a big vinyl cutter so I’ve never used a Cricut. I’ll have to brush up on the consumer stuff. Thanks!
I typically use a Janome 1600p straight stitch machine. Here’s a video about it: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TcB7nhR_dIc.htmlsi=i9tICOMEzbLlOm8e
Need a cheap solution to storing price tags, all the different ones. I preprint them. I need to keep them separate, I just bought a beautiful coffee cup to store the fabric grips. I love them, but the company sent them in a cheap purse that won't sit up on my sewing table
The report sleeve would be great to a sewing pattern in. Placing the pattern picture in the front so you see what the pattern is at a glance. The cake holder and glass upside down would make a great dining table for a Barbie!
My kitchen is butter yellow and my dining area is pale green. Those colors just remind me of home, my parents' decor schemes and my grandmother's kitchen and dining room.
I love buttons i have my moms and my grandmas buttons and i love thrift store buttons they have so many cool ones and i also have been collecting the military ones!
Goo Gone works wonders on glue remnants. Just wash to item afterward before use. Also, you can play a dvd in a Blu-ray player. Can’t play a Blu-ray in a dvd but you can play a dvd in a Blu-ray player. So enjoy your dvd. Did you look at the $3 and $5 items? In the $5 items is a fat quarter pack with five fat quarters that are 100% cotton. You can get a strip bundle also for $5.
I wish I had known that when I made the video. I guess I gotta get with my girlfriends who have Cricuts and learn some more about them! Thanks for the heads up.
@@timothytotten9409 You may find the various Cricut machines may be an added benefit to your business. I watched Jennifer Maker when I received my Cricut Joy machine for basically card making. She explains that knockoffs to the mats may save money but that they void the warranty on the machine. That’s the only reason why I noticed the mat. Good luck.
I buy the Jot plastic 9 compartment organizers at Dollar Tree. I put my sewing machine feet, zipper pulls, key rings and more in them. I also buy clear boxes there for zippers and other sewing supplies.
