11 P.M. - Animal Crossing: New Leaf - Extended music 

my best friend died due to cancer recently, and he offered me his acnl and 3ds as a way to say goodbye. I spent many nights playing on that save file this summer and one hourly music track that stuck with me the most is this one. it taught me through this simple tune that no matter what. there will always be a spark of light among us when everything turns dark. thank you animal crossing new leaf. you're the only way I can feel that my friends still with me. watching me play every night and falling asleep dreaming about him and the things we used to do together. I miss him.

I miss being a kid

I can't quite place it, but this song has this sense of sadness to it. A tranquil sadness, accompanied by this feeling that everything is going to be okay. It's lonely, but hopeful. This day has come to an end, but tomorrow is a new dawn of endless opportunities. It's beautiful.

I got this game randomly from an uncle. I had no idea what it was but I’m so glad I played it. I remember getting the first letter from “mom” and I thought it was my real mom sending me mail.

Imagine you and your friends you met in Miiverse come to go visit your town and play some island minigames around 9pm, after that you catch some bugs, fish, and you dive for a while. One of your friends have to since it's their bedtime, and you and the group of friends travel back to your town. Your hear this music and realize it's already 11 and you should get going too. You say goodbye to your friends for the night and go get your stash of creatures you caught at the island, you realized that all the shops are closed and you should just log off and get to bed. Man I miss 2013.

this song... I used to play this game with a friend who eventually died and every item that was his is in a sanctuary I made for him this song is the perfect song for remembering old time. Man I miss this era of acnl

i was in 1st grade and obsessed with this game, i used to sneak my 3ds in bed to play acnl and somehow i stayed awake until about 12am xd this exact ost just brings me back memories and makes me remember the friends i made on this game.. they're all gone now but, oh well, they're probably out there having normal lives, this game is a thing of the past but it will always have an extremely special place in my heart

I really miss acnl... Playing with my miiverse friends for hours on end and just having fun and talking.. It was nice.

Here I am in June 2024... 10 years after the summer I first discovered this game. Even now, long after packing my 3DS away before college, meeting new people, graduating, moving away from my childhood town, this song blesses me with a warm dose of nostalgia. It is a gentle brush with those midsummer nights I stayed up playing this game as a kid back in 2014. In those summer nights when the future seemed so vast, real life looked so far away, and life felt like an endless enchanted boardwalk.

This reminds me of when you have fun playing with your friends, the day and time has come to an end and a new adventure starts again the next day. I love this so much!

i remember how many nice people i met. I was often awake till late into the night, talking with my friends i made… while listening to this song.. 😭

Did I seriously go years without playing this installment? Yeah, I may sound a little stupid, but I honestly wish I played New Leaf earlier. More so, I wish I played before I hated Nintendo. Where had my innocence gone, all those years ago..?

This is a song that represents remembering innocence before it was lost, for me. The musical equivalent of "despite everything, it's still you"

I purchased two copies of this game when it released, my girlfriend at the time, and I would play this game late into the night. The 11PM music, and 1AM music always bring me back to that time. Her and I later married, we had two kids, we moved states, bought a house, and have since divorced. We are now doing what is best for our children, and have both since moved on from any romantic feelings in our relationship. All of that being said, and things being how they are now, the music from this game (especially the late night music) will always bring me back to that time, and the catharsis that comes with it. It is true what they say, "it is better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all". The future is bright, friends, don't let the past keep you from being excited about what is to come.

It reminds me my exgirlfriend. I lent her my 3DS so she can play some good videogames I had there and she loved Animal Crossing. She converted that game in the most played game on the console! And did a lot of funny and beutiful things with the tools the game had, like clothes, her house or the town itself. When we broke up she gave me back the console, and when I revisited the town, I just... can't do nothing. That game is more hers than mine now. Since that, I didn't touch the game again, and I'm fine with it. To me, it belongs to her more than me. PD: Surely Minina misses you.

Today out of nowhere I thought about my new leaf town and finally remembered it's name Golden Rod. I lost my 3ds a long time ago but still remember my town. I do think Golden Rod and Beta Life are together somehow in the same world. just mayor Flash won't let me come visit.
