The years have passed since this game was in my hands when I was 4-6ish, I'm 13 now and I continue to follow the series with my heart. As I continue onto greater journeys I always keep my childhood savefile close and will never give it up.
funny thing is i've never even played this game. i think animal crossing music is just amazing and perfect no matter what. comparing this to new horizons is like comparing steel to gold though. nee horizons music is groovy and nice and i love it, but this???? oh my god THIS.
This soundtrack genuinely makes me sick to my stomach. It’s so good but it just takes me back to being a kid and staying up without my parents knowing so I can farm for stags on the island 😭 how the hell am I an adult now how did this game come out in 2012 how is it 2024

I used to play this game back in it's hayday. I wasn't totally happy, but I loved my house. I loved my garden. I loved my grandpa. I loved playing with my 3DS, I loved talking to my online bf about it. Not everything was okay, but I loved every second of those sleepless summer nights I would spend on the cold floor because it was too hot. But then everything changed. As all does in life. I've lost nearly everything I loved in these last years. And no matter what happens, I just can't be the happy child I once was. Life's just too hard for me. I'm not cut out for it. It's all so hard. I want to go back to being the child I was, and not a sad adult who can't do anything right and can't accomplish his dreams. But now, I will press on instead of lamenting what I miss. This will be a long and horrible road, but one that I must walk. If not for the sakes of the ones who have passed away, then for my friends and family. Good night, Reader. i was often on at night so this is what i heard most of the time. going to the island to play with the other night owls or give away free stuff with the codes i made to spawn items. coming back to my town to add in new friend codes to hang with the new people i met to talk show off or have them steal my gold flower. yeah that happened sometimes. to me this ost is the best out of all the ac games.

This song feels so nostalgic and melancholic… I think acnl is one of the best games in the saga and i hope i’d still playing it in the future :’( this game means a lot to me
When I got this game, it was summer 2013. I was 15 years old, almost 16. Back in 2014, I met my girlfriend. We've been together for ten years now. In 2015, during a summer vacation with her, I remember taking long walks in the night, holding hands, listening to the peaceful silence of the beach interrupted by the waves, the soft breeze making the leaves on the pine trees nearby move and create that soft brushing sound. The comfortable temperature, the empty beach, and the comfort of having each other. It was perfect. One of those days, we shared my 3DS and played ACNL for a bit after one of the late night walks. It was always at around 1 AM that we would come home, and this song stuck with me ever since. The memories take us both back to a time when things were more innocent. We were younger, different, less occupied with life, without responsibilities aside from coming to the beach apartment with her parents not too late. I love her so much.
Im creating this so I can remember this song in the future (and maybe recall how I was in the past aka now.) I wish you all happy days in your lives, and I just want to say one more thing. I used to stay up this late just to hear this song, especially when it was raining in my town. I would just walk around, and when I got too tired I set the 3DS down for a bit and just chilled before turning it off. Gods this game was so special ❤
more or less at this time I started playing on the weekends, this brings me a lot of nostalgia for those moments, even for the online island and all the friends I made there who were the reason to continue playing even when everything else ended
I played this game for almost 7 years(During my whole late childhood and teenager years) I stopped playing during 2 years ,suddenly,nostalgia hit me some days ago so I had a urge to play it. It was sounding this theme in my town and I started remembering about my past and childhood(Which is strongly linked with the game) just to notice how fast time goes and how ephemeral life really is. All the friends I had there,all the person I had ever meet there,all the moments,everything has gone forever. That made me really sad because that era of my life(The happiest one) was over forever and it won't never come back.
It's been one decade now since I've played this for the first time ever. Spend so much time on this game with my sister playing together that I could remember all 24 soundtracks of every hour and could tell the current hour just by hearing the music
this song always gives me such chills. the steel pan is so perfectly used, everytime it plays for a short second i instantly get this sudden vibe of "everything is/will be okay." i love this song so much.
