I've never watched WWE, but I can understand why those people stopped watching

11:41 can't really blame the announcers, McMahon feeds them lines and is known to get pretty angry if you don't use them or if you question them. There was a clip floating around where Cole questioned if the line was necessary....awkward silence then we just hear him say "ok, OK, I'm sorry I was just clarifying.....yes Sir. Thank you Sir."

The Attitude Era was the last time I really watched wrestling

I was young, middle/high school age, so my thoughts at the time and details now are a bit fuzzy, but I know I stopped watching it abruptly. It was the years when it went from WWF to WWE. By design they make you love or hate guys. The guy I hated the most was HHH. What frustrated me the most was when guys would win or lose based on interference. I'm not 100% positive but I believe HHH was champion for what felt like years and he had a match in which he should have lost, but interference saved him. It was the last match I ever watched. What upset me the most is I knew it was scripted and they did everything in their power to keep guys on top, even if it involved "cheating." It's not like a boxer or MMA fighter that wins or loses based on their skill. Like I hated Anderson Silva, but if guys can't beat him, they can't beat him. But in the WWE they write this stuff and I simply got sick of the guys I liked not winning. It's like they write this stuff and they went out of their way to keep certain guys on top and it always involved cheating. It's really quite sad...I like the product for what it is, I still play WWF No Mercy on N64...but they managed to make me turn it off and never watch it again...

I have been a wrestling fan since the mid 90s. I quit watching years ago until AEW came along. Still do not watch WWE.

I watched wwe till 2019 after lockdown and no people I stop watching it and I never watched a single show from then

I still watch but I find it harder and harder to sit through a show. It's starting to get so predictable, it's always the same folks in the title matches. They've gotten in right in Nxt UK and nxt those are usually pretty good. You know it's bad when some nxt folks don't want to go to the main roster.

I only watch AEW, New Japan and NXT now (I know NXT is WWE, but the matches are way better).

I stopped watching while it was still just WWF

There was such a short window of good women's matches. Chyna started it in about 1997 and after about 2001 it was horrible. Always treated women badly though.

I stopped watching a few years ago. Always skipped the diva matches. They just aren’t entertaining
