@@nathanwarden1422 it's shown in previous videos. From memory its headers with 3 inch collectors, 3 inch twin pipes into a single twin in, twin out muffler sitting at a 45degree angle with twin dumps just before the drivers side rear wheel. 💪😎

@@justin3131ify In this video it was just 2 18inch collector extensions straight off the headers 😅 I need to repair my actual exhaust after my tailshaft made a mess of it.

You're still running unopened except for cams so eventually you'll probably hit that wall where you need to take the plunge and do internals and then think about setting up for boost while you're at it. It's all how far you want to go really. If you wanted to go crazy you could always buy a 6L block 🤣

It helps to load the suspension up as I roll out. If I just let the clutch out the rebound from the shocks unloads the tyre and I spin. 🙂

I usually run just over really tank, the guave doesn't read correctly.under half. 🙂

6000, get your tuner to lift that up. Leaving alot of performance on the table 🙂 Tell him I've been spinning mine to 7700 for while now and 7200 for a very long time with alot of events. Even 6700 would give you alot more room. Mine made 310rwkw, 🙂

@@GapSauceRU-vid awesome man, yeah mines makin 302 at the wheels but saw them use a new tune on a Ba gt like yours not long after mine left the shop and put up 340 at the wheels😆 was genuinely blown away how they got that without forced induction

@@rickyholmes5680 Yeah, lots of cars making big power on the dyno and very few backing it up on the track unfortunately. 340 is definitely doable n/a, the only other 5.4 ive seen make 340 was a bloke named Shane in his Green BA xr8 with built boss 290, We are both doing similar trap speeds with mine a little quicker to get there. I've also see other 340rwkw 5.4s trap 108 mph too. Dyno's are a hard thing to measure against each other 😅

Thanks mate!!! It's not my best ET but did it without too much effort this time which was great. My best 60's have all been using the handbrake. I use it to settle the rear end in the squat as I release the clutch. If I don't use it, it seems to bounce and unloads the tyre and spins.

Hi mate, the cams were $1800 on special from crow with valve springs. I did a bunch of other things at the time which added up. Ill have to make a video about it. The blue switch is my water meth injection, just cooling the intake down before the run. It seems to work, I don't really need it during the run when its this nice and cool outside.

Oh nice, should make some decent power then! Have you decided on cams yet? 505 is roughly what it should be making according to the mph and weight, could be less 🤷‍♂️ I think it made just under 420whp at the last dyno day.

@@GapSauceRU-vid Yep, i'm also using the gtho cams. May do some head work too, in the 300-320cfm region. The math tells me these heads will make 580fwhp with the gtho cams at 7500rpm which is about the limit for me. Without the headwork just over 500 whi for stock factory casting is amazing.

Awesome, make sure you degree the gtho's on a wider LSA, mine were way too tight for a DOHC head. 🙂

Making the right moves and testing for myself has helped get the car where it is.. The cams and more specifically the degree of the cams where I thought best seems to have helped in a big way. It all adds up though, diff gear and cams were big items though.

So am I mate, but I've spent alot of time fiddling to make the small things add up. Peak numbers on the dyno never tell the full story in my opinion 🙂 The broad powerband does help too. I have an extra 1700rpm over the factory limiter to make alot more power and keep accelerating.
