Man, I feel just the same. It's been my backbone for so many years... I came here because I just bought some tickets to see them in Tokyo next month. I cannot wait!!
You're insanely correct and thank you for saying this. It's why people can't ever decide if they're math or not. I realize this was 5 yrs ago but you still right.
This drummer is so damn good. His feel is wild, his technique is near perfect, almost has a beat-box style of playing, you can see his mouth moving a lot too while he's playing which makes me think that. Wild song, criminally unknown band
i think the band is great, but i just can´t go with the vocals. it just sounds really dull and i am not sure if he is actually a singer.. because he does not hit a lot of notes right though
@@Plemp. It's a live performance, not everything is up to par sometimes in these scenarios. It's also important to remember that this band's main shtick is instrumentals, very few of their songs have actual vocals. As far as the song Goodbye itself goes though... Yeah, the vocals are intentionally monotone.
@@Plemp. The vocals for this song are actually from Toki Asako, so they can't have her always there to sing this song only, since most of their songs are instrumentals
@@Plemp. He's not really a vocalist at all, the grand majority of their songs don't even have lyrics and the ones that do all follow this similar trend of monotone and casual singing. This is simply a matter of preference, I just think this song just wouldn't be the same without the lyrics. Also, the band constantly hits wrong notes lol, that's not excusive to the vocals
These guys. Something else. That's probably the most emotion and being I've seen put into live music in quite some time. The fact that the drummer doesn't even have to look at the drums is absurd. Toe changed my life. They're incredible. Peace and love all
been listening to toes since past 6 years and still can't get enough . actually their songs radaite some peaceful and positive vibes and that helps me a lot during tough times . love from Nepal 🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵
I really respect these guys for not going too hard on the solos and stuff. we all know they could play some amazingly impressive stuff but music over technique! Not that this means, that technically demanding stuff is necessarly non musical, i just respect their decision to never feel the need to impress other people with their technique. Being a guitarist myself i know that we tend to want to do that, but these guys are all about the music.
@@sespro917 when I was younger I had to know that whichever band had near virtuoso chops in order to allow myself to like them, I think that spoke more to my ego than anything else.
@@jossheaton6148 I know, but his comment is suggestive of the fact that he values technique over emotive playing....i'm half-trolling, half recognising my younger self who would only listen to people who were near-virtuosos
There is no one who can understand me truly. I do not go out, I will keep silence. Everyone is mania in general. You don't have to know others. It's more complex than whatever I thought. Already i know The start to the end. Everyone is mania in general. You don't have to know others. Umaku todokanai nda. Mata tsugi no fuan ka? A disruption and blinder. Sono saki wa nai nda. (translation) I won't be able reach it. Is this another feeling of anxiety again? A disruption and a blinder. There is no destination.
I don’t know what it is but I fucking love it when I can share the love of music with another country. I have no clue what they are saying but it doesn’t matter. There is something beautiful about that which is difficult to describe. This world truly can be a gorgeous place to live.
Good on that incredible guitarist and singer for singing out the English section of Goodbye even though he didn’t know the English words very well. That didn’t stop him from pouring his heart into it!
Mais comment j'ai pu louper ce concert !!! C'est juste magnifique, j'espère qu'ils reviendront, mais pas trop vite non plus parce que je vais encore les louper.
I firs listened to these guys in a secondhand clothing store in NYC, think the guy who owns the place is Japanese. their music was playing reeeeally loud. great band! at the end of the first song the knee protectors make all sense!
Jordan Neal Nicee, you've been playing drums 1 year longer than i have on guitar! Kinda sad cause Ive been losing motivation latey ): It'd be cool to check out some jams or vids you have man.
Never quit man, there are other musicians out there. If you live in an isolated place, save up and move, find them. Do whatever it takes if you think you might be able to share something like what these guys are sharing with the world. It's important. You matter.
