I would love it if WoW gave us a tab in the collections page, to store all our pet skins the way mounts and companion pets are stored. It's so tedious having to find a stable master every time you want to swap pets you have with you, and the stable gets filled up so quickly with all the cool unique looks available for pets. Plus having only 5 slots to take with you, means you're only realistically taking 4 pets out with you, since there's always a spare slot left open incase you stumble across a cool rare. Would be incredible if we could just change hunter pets as easily as changing companion pets. Also would be cool if this was account wide, so once you've tamed a pet on one of your hunters, any of your other hunters can use it.
Yeah, we went a few xpacs, sadly, where I didn’t want to delete a rare tame. Some of them on a pvp server where the opposition would kill it to be spiteful. Fortunately, they made more space. It’s funny how many battle pets and variants of the same species there are, yet you couldn’t have more stable space. It is just a gif/jpeg at the end of the day for a server.
Sharing Info ,, There ia a named root snapper crab called Crabtankerous. Silver color with green marking on the shell with green eyes , no idea on spawn time as i bumped into it
Love this video. Benn a hunter for over 15 years and have quote the stable of rares. Perfect video for what I am looking for. Just found your channel. Hoping you have similar videos for the other expansions. /fingers crossed. Liked and subbed.
Yeah for years it was always speculation as an expansion. I felt like nyolotha should’ve been it’s own expansion, so it was disappointing to see it as just a raid. Anyways thanks for watching friend
very nice video! im frustrated that there is only 205 space for pets, I would love to have unlimited space, as we now need to tame 2 time the same pet if we want to duplicate it with the talent, is that what u did with your 2 Sul'raka right ? there is no other way, back in legion we had a toy that was allowing us to copy directly the appearance of our main pet on our secondary but this time is over sadly
Does the Drustsaber require you to kill the same mob as the Drustbear? Also, shared info: There's a pat of a fire-stag named "Ashen Gladeheart Buck", he pats near the Verdant Dreamsabers. Cool, unique model.
So for the cat the thorn drops off any of the dreamsabers. As for the stag, I’m guessing the thorn will drop off any of the stags in the emerald dream. And I actually almost included the ashen gladeheart in the video!
@@Koldstare_wowexcept there isn't really. As my druid already has all the new forms except the Runebear one because only once a week.... Owlbear, 500g. Stag, 500g. Raptorcat, 500g. Glowy dps cat, 500g. Druid kills rare to MAYBE get a loot drop. Hunter tames pet, to get pet... Rare shows back up shortly after. Meanwhile when the rare dies, hunters have to sit there for hours just to try and tame it and have some dickhead druid come by and tag it, which means we have no choice but to kill it and wait again. Only to have another hunter get mad that you are there and also kills it... because if they can't have it, you can't either...... Druids are just doing the same thing, except they have to guess whether or not they get loot. It's just entitlement to MAYBE potentially getting loot vs entitlement to get a rare pet for a FOR SURE prize that respawns quickly to get a different prize....
Nah'qi has been confirmed. You have to kill MYTHIC Fyrakk to loot the Cinder of Companionship in order to tame him. I guess I won't be getting him until next expansion, lol. I watched the Echo/Liquid race to world first to see if he dropped it too. I was sad when I saw it on the loot table, lol.
I feel a hunter wanting to tame a mob has as much right to do so as people wanting to kill it for a drop -- but man do I get mad when I'm camping a spawn or there are a bunch of druids wanting to kill it to try to get the form and a hunter rolls in and takes the tame out from under us. The rares don't give you special abilities any more, and you can give pets names, so there is no reason to tame a rare when there are mobs with their exact coloration nearby.
Yeah, it’s the age old struggle between hunters and everyone else. I guess the way I look at is is, the mob doesn’t belong to anyone, so it’s down to whoever gets to it first. It’s nice that blizz did try to resolve this by having some of the rares appear right away after taming.
Except there aren't others, the names do stay, and druid forms are purchaseable. All the rare druid forms require a stone you can buy for 500g. I know as a druid and hunter main......the werebear form comes from Aurostor, the flaming moonlin comes from a raid and the rare blue cat firm comes from an item and some moonwell vials Literally none of these rares listed are special for druids. Add to it that I can get my rare on the first try, where as your druid forms can come on the first or thousandth kill. You expect hunter to wait around for all the druids to get their forms? We would be here forever. Think before you speak. I have all the druids forms, except the Runebear because you only have one chance a week. All that to say that druids lose nothing by hunters coming in to take, meanwhile hunters lose our chance on a rare pet with a unique name, just for you to have a CHANCE at some loot? Lol no thanks. You can wait in line because when we tame it, the rare spawn timer is on a different cool down, aka you don't have to wait as long. Literally everything you presented is false, or just inaccurate at best. It just speaks of entitlement.
Well what about Druids who fly I. While your killing a mob to steal your herb or other quest item because they have their flight form. Go for it hunters get my revenge for me 😂
The Shadow Doe is in the druid cave at the other times. On the right side behind the large rock. At 20:00 servertime she moves to the stag. Maybe they changed the drop rate I got my hearts within 5 ki8lls on each animal type.
Yeah I read the doe could be in the cave too. I think I did show on the map that she could be there, I just didn’t know the times she’d be in the cave. Would be a great change for the thorn drop rate if that is the case; no reason for a less than 1 percent drop rate!
Yeah, a lot of competition between hunters and druids. I think the rares respawning after being tamed was the best middle ground for solving any frustrations between the two
your map image and coords for - Tula'rhun -are wrong Tula'rhun spawns in a big Cave at 56,41 in Haven Cascades in the Emerald Dream. At 55,39 is the cave entrance. 5-10 minutes respawn time
Thanks for the vid! How do you get your pets to match like that? I am coming back and that little bubble that we used to use to match them doesn't work.
Yeah back in Legion there was a blue item that you could use to make your pets match. Now what it’s your main pet and the first pet in the stable; so when you want them to match you have to just get a second of the same pet. Thanks a lot for watching!
It's possible that not everyone emphasizes the importance of a high reputation with specific cities before attempting to tame certain creatures in these type of videos. This aspect might be overlooked or assumed by some content creators. However, acknowledging the significance of city reputation for creature taming could enhance the completeness of such instructional content. 🤷♂️
Are you referring to the tome that allows you to tame the lesser dragons? I probably could have mentioned that. When I make a video I have really try and keep it as direct and to the point as possible, my analytics in Studio show I have a steep drop off in viewers around the 8 minute mark, so for the sake of brevity I try to really keep the videos from running on.
I have all except the drustvat one, and im glad i kept those hearts. Not sure why, but they looked important. Also, not as rare as you think. I got them all in under an hour of starting the emerald dream....so either not rare or i suddenly became exceedingly lucky....but seeing as my hunter also went 7 weeks without raid loot...........
It definitely seems like they buffed the drop rate for the thorns that drop! I had to farm the bears for a couple of hours before mine dropped. I’m all for the increased drop rate though, no reason for it to be a grind imo
@@Koldstare_wow big oof on the farming, man. Hopefully they just increased the drop rate, because I need to see more hunters with the drustvar bears lol.
i had two of thorn-laden heart. i think i got them from a rare bear which you need to gather food from the nearby spot to spawn the rare. i think the drop chance of the thorn for hunters is 100% from the rare bear boss
if i catch his name ill post it here Also there is another spiritbeast that is only seeable when using the dust that you get from centaur rep. Its a spirit skin of a kodo type beasty
I'm trying to tame the Cavern Magma Serpent in Zaralek Cavern but it says creature not tameable :( Even though I can tame exotic beasts.. Do you know what might be wrong?
Might not be tamable sounds like! There were a few really neat looking beasts in the Zaralek Caverns. The ones with really tall legs that walk in the lava would have been a great tame
Hey there! Once you take a pet it will forever be your pet unless you ever choose to release it! To tame a pet you’re going to use the spell called “Tame Beast.” You won’t see this in your spell book right away as it’s collapsed in the pet utility spell. You’ll just drag it to your action bar, find any pet you can tame (can’t be a higher level than your character) and then you channel the Tame Beast spell. You can store pets you’ve tamed at any stable master!
@@Koldstare_wow yeah thanks i figured it out but I also had to put a pet in the 1st space slot in the pet stables never played a hunter so I didn't know
If you’re level 70 you should have a breadcrumb quest leading you to the far side of the Ohn’ahran plans! Once there, you’ll see a green portal! There’s also a portal to the Emerald Dream in Valdrakken!
You can name your pets whatever you want. If the model or color isn't unique, just tame rhe easiest pet in that color and give it whatever name you want.
@@LittleFullLotaSap You can see at 2:37 in the video that I tame it! It's the golden tint for the verdent dreamsaber; here's a link to Petopia verifying it's tamable too www.wow-petopia.com/look.php?id=dreamsaber_yellow
Aww man haha I have done the same thing with rare pets so many times! I think every hunter has done that at least once! Think Sul’raka’s my favorite pet that came this patch, such a great looking pet
