The Rosa Mendes story is one of the few positive ex-wrestler stories. No overdose or addiction, she isn't taking staples to the head in some hardcore indy and she isn't suing the company. She had a good ten year run and retired on her own terms.
The reason why Eva Marie couldn't wrestle is because her heart was not really into it,she was just in it for the money and the exposure. In fact had she really had her heart into pro wrestling she would have already had improved a lot better than she did when she first came to WWE. Also it helps if you come from past generations of a pro wrestling family to give you somewhat of a heads up in the business should you choose to pursuit it.
I always loved Brawler. And Horowitz. Wish they would have been teamed together and won the titles. I don't even care if it was due to interference after a ref bump and got stripped the next night.
I still can't figure out Vince's reasoning for bringing a wrestler up from NXT and changing their entire gimmick and persona when they already have a following, and then releasing them when it doesn't work. Unless of course the entire plan is to stick it to his son-in-law for thinking he knows the business better. On another note, how the hell did Steve Lombardi not have a Legends deal?
I don't think the Goldust situation was a shame. No one told him to take it. At one point, he even offered to get a boob job if Vinnie Mac ponied up a million bucks. Now, keeping Cody from using "Cody Rhodes" is petty.
Your hard work is paying off thanks for digging up facts because when a lot of WWE wrestlers get released it's like he never hear hear about him anymore so thank you so much wrestlelamia
Dashing Cody Rhoades was a highly underrated wrestler, he had so much potential as a humorous yet disturbing heel. And Sandow, in my opinion the most underrated wrestler of all time. He was so damn entertaining! Good in the ring and a genius on the microphone, what the WWE did to him was a tragedy. WWE politics truly gone wrong.
Eva Marie was suspended for 30 days the sme time Paige was and when Alberto Del Rio was fired. She knew about Paige’s injury and didn’t tell anybody. She was so jaded she didn’t come back messing up a PPV match. Then again, she only had like...2 matches.
There is a long list of those who WWE screwed over. Neville, A Double, CM Punk to list a few. I am sure anyone could add many. It is pretty simple if you have talent they should do something with it instead of pushing you down the card until they just take you off from it. I hate when they keep non talented wrestlers and let the best go. I could also list those they should have let go but kept and some of them are still there. WWE needs to get their s**t together.
The WWE is horrible to watch. The storylines are horrible. Why? Bad gimmicks or characters. Also, Shane, Stephanie an HHH needs to stay away from marketing.
Hopefully Eva Marie goes into the porn industry: it's a place where she migbt be able to perform. With her body and experience in nude modeling, I'm sure she can do very well.
Looking at the before and after, Eva Marie might have been rehired (after the 'training') after her trip to 'silicone valley'. She's legit pretty tho....
Ulric TheUnjust cody still makes good money. alot of them do and its not like you make millions from wwe every year. ryback only got a little over a million and by the time taxes and car rentals and hotel expencises happen he barely has anything
Good to see many of them didn't leave wrestling behind after WWE buried them. Cody's the most successful by far, but it goes to show you there's life outside the abusive Connecticut machine.
Lombardi was also A Doink the Clown & the Knuckleball character & four a short period, the Boston Brawler... Aries left because he didn't like the way his character was going & because of Mania & him & Neville weren't going see anything on DVDs because it was cut from the DVDS.
