Money cannot buy talent, it's great to see that the parents worked hard and have the resources to put their child into classes that will help her excel at something she is naturally talented at!
Money can buy resources. Let’s not kid ourselves. She’s very talented but I’m sure there are many like her that just can’t afford the gym time and equipment. That’s what people mean when they say money can buy success. Yes she has the talent and willpower and that’s great, but so so many others that are less fortunate than her.
Yes she has privilege yes she is lucky that her parents have money that doesn’t mean she can’t be in a video or succeed as long as she is aware of this there is nothing wrong with it she clearly has the drive and passion
Agree. Her parents can afford it. But her attitude is unique. My daughter won't even stay in a sport she likes once a week. And that's ok, too. But this girl has worked HARD for her results!
@@jackclark8607 money doesn't buy you ambition, grit, fearlessness, good work ethic, discipline. This is why people from even the poorest backgrounds are able to become world-famous athletes.
@@CapitanNaufrago Money doesn't buy ambition, grit, fearlessness, good work ethic, and discipline, but it sure buys you the opportunity to practice those things. Many kids who come from poverty have ambition, grit, fearlessness, good work ethic, and discipline, but lack the opportunity to practice these things.
@@lostchild06 many kids that come from privileged backgrounds will never do what she is doing. Most are either playing fortnite or making tiktoks. Individual personality and mentality play a huge role.
it's super easy to get offended on the internet, especially the youtube comments. you have to take each comment with a grain of salt. It wasn't directed at you, it wasn't about you, it probably wasn't even said to you; just because you took it personally. It was about the person who wrote it, spoken through the limited lens that is their perception of life. It doesn't have to mean everything and break your heart, let the 'mean' comments go. Assuming what someone else is feeling is always a bad route to take in life. If you're not sure ask them. if you think you're sure, assume the best, not the worst. Have a nice day! Tiff
I just wanted to say that this is all true coming from a girl that was on the same team as her 5 years ago you got this Julianne make your dream come true love you
I think the term prodigy is a bit heavy handed. She's a very hard worker with an elite athlete mentality and parents who have the financial resources to pay for private lessons. Either way, she should be very proud of the commitment and work she's put in. :)
@@capraecultus There is a freaking limit to how much you can achieve with hard work alone. She is FOR SURE a prodigy!!! I would have NEVER EVER been able to pull off what she does at only 11 years old and I tried. I did ice skating and failed 3 seasons in a row to pass the first level test, which was not very hard and I tried. Look alone at her flexibility! Yes kids improve faster but hers is flawless. Some people just are gifted and it is great to see that this kid who is gifted is also appreciating her gift by putting in her all and reaching her potential.
@@luv9623 LMAO. would you argue that high school soccer is not sport? in the same way soccer played by amateurs or youth is still a sport, so is cheerleading. you don't need professionals partaking for something to be considered 'sport'.
It’s a bit annoying tho, because cheerleading became a sport all those girls are trying out for the school teams as well and make it so you can’t just do it for fun anymore, that’s how it is at my school anyway where I come from cheer is really competitive and lots of girls do it
I don't know what kind of financial help her parent's need with papa doctor and the marble mansion, but she's a very sweet child to even think about helping them
btw people saying you need to be rich you don’t have to be a lot of kids i know who do cheer are as good as her and practice on their own no extra cost other than the team cost
cheerleading is expensive in the case of paying for privates, comp unis, practice wear, comp fees, monthly tuition. the fact that she has being cheering since she was 4 (7years) that’s a lot of money. i do the same kind of cheer as she does and i can guarantee u it’s expensive. in order to do cheer for that long you have to have a steady income of money
exactly like bruh she’s lucky she can get a private hire coach cuz it looks to me that her dad is a doctor or surgeon but many take group sessions n r good as well
Thats sad. Gymnastics requires a leotard which only just covers undies. Swimmers wear swimsuits. Sad to stop someone from doing a sport because of the clothing. Maybe you could respectfully ask if you were to only wear cheerleading clothing when training or competing and then more appropriate clothing to and from and whenever not doing cheer ....maybe that will be a compromise your Mum may be ok with or more willing to hear. Whatever your Mum decides.....I'm sure she is trying to protect you.
Financial reasons probably, it costs a lot to accommodate teams in comparison to individual athletes, synchronised figure skating has been trying for years to be accepted as a Winter Olympic sport but so far hasn’t been recognised despite a very strong world championship competition.
@@hannaharmah4257 something with a ball/puck and a goal. That’s my opinion though I don’t want a fight I just think dancing and cheerleading is a hobby
I wish every kid was allotted the opportunities most of these kids have on "No days off". Imagine how many "prodigies" and highly skilled athletes, artist, etc we'd have if every kid was given the chance to find their passion and harness their skills in it.
@@shashashashrirai594 some people don’t have that talent to be able too… my brother did football for 3 years practiced every day he was NEVER good at it
She’s soo good I wish I had that much confidence I mean it’s taken me nearly 3weaks to get my back handspring on floor if it’s on trampoline I’ll do backflips and that but she’s brilliant
My young cousin started cheering at the age of seven. Because she was small she was always the "flyer". She continued cheering through high school, but now as as adult she is plagued with MANY skeletal problems. I have lost count of the number of back surgeries and she deals with pain daily.
As a chronic pain sufferer (5 degenerated discs, Grade 1 slipped vertebra, fibromyalgia+) I can truly say that the one thing that most adversely affects my quality of life is my chronic pain. There's not a single aspect of a CP sufferer's life that remains untouched by daily intractable pain. It's a life I wouldn't wish on anyone. It's deeply emotionally isolating, misunderstood, under-treated and depressing. Avoid it if you can!!!
I love the passion I just hope her parents show her that injury’s happen and she should have a backup plan. 11 is young but college starts at 17-18 and then after she completes that cheer won’t be a thing for her. Sadly.
I do appreciate when Julianne says she wants to get a scholarship to help her parents out. That’s sweet and shows maturity. But when the parents are saying it, bro. You’ve already spent 4 years of room, board and books on private lessons, travel expenses, team fees, so forth.
Good on her for putting the hard work in!!! Yes she has had a financial advantage, but she has still put so much time and effort into this, and it shows!
Heck I know a 7 ur old that can tumble that great doing tucks, full outs, front punches, level 4 stuff, and a flyer. Her mom owned the gym, which is what helps any student......the ability to spend as much time (money) in the gym
Yes her parents have money but money can't by talent and this girl is so talented!! She is an amazing cheerleader and I can't wait to see where she goes in the future!!
@@emilyrich1317 IVF. Because the parents are neurodiverse and couldnt conceive naturally or they met quite late (which often happens with people with autistic traits). But ADHD/autistic traits helps in sports. The girl likes her sport so much because she can profit a lot from staying around different people. Both coachen are nice, in particular one of them .
Congratulations for finding the passion for a sport and for working so hard to be great at it. Having the backing of the parents is huge . My parents weren't able to support my interests, we were poor. When I made the High School golf team my freshman year I had to drop off because I had no ride to the match , my taxi (mom ) got a job. I bet this holds true for many kids.
Wow I'm so jealous... She's amazing! It took me a month to learn the aerial just because I was scared lol. My parents had to cancel one of my other classes because it was expensive and the time didn't work out.
Wow!! She is the epitome of what people should striving for. I can't wait to see just what she is capable of. Keet it up girl, and you will be world famous.
She is so likeable. Great attitude, manners and a fantastic athlete. I really liked her story and how many things she has accomplished so far. I wonder if she OT...
She still puts in the work, there is no need to try and take that away from her, her parents worked hard to give her a good life, she’s very fortunate but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t work hard!
bob sky or maybe her parent put her extra money towards this rather than education or insurance but even if she does look 'rich' stop being jealous -plus that's probably because her parents work very hard
Good for her working so so hard. I know she has worked to achieve where she is at. However, I do hope she is aware of how lucky she is to have all those private lessons.
She stated she wanted a scholarship for college as a way to help her parents because they have done so much for her and she wants to be able to help them when they are older. She is aware.
I’m so torn for multiple reasons. She is very talented. I will not deny that. My problems are two-fold. 1) what is the price of being such an athlete at such an age? I know many many athletes live their sports. But if you look at them, their worth is often tied to their sport. If they aren’t thin enough, they’re pushed to diet, if they suffer an injury bad enough, that’s it. Your dreams are through. I didn’t go far in sports but I did to dance (including pointe) and gymnastics. I’m 41 and I’m paying hard for the little I did. Is she being pushed to do it? What about her siblings? Are they treated equally? 2) as for the scholarship. It’s one thing to earn it, it’s another to need it. While I quite obviously do not know her parents’ financial status (nor is it any of my business), and I am aware that videos have been shot in houses staged for the video, rather than the individual’s real home, it does not appear that she needs the scholarship. That means it would be taken from someone who really does need it that probably didn’t have the advantages she has. And before you come for me, I do believe things like that should be earned and as I said, she’s extremely talented. She could very well earn it simply by actually being better than someone else. I don’t deny that. But she doesn’t need it.
did you ever think about the fact that if their kids don’t get a scholarship that is 4 college tuitions within 2 years. you shouldn’t tell them what is good for them and what isn’t
What a talented little girl! She will be set for college. I am not good at anything like that, but I wonder what it is like for altheletes to have something like this their whole lives and it to be over. Gymnastics, cheerleading, and almost all sports take you so far. Usually done after college with gymnastics and cheerleading. It has got to be hard and I hope she finds other things that make her happy too. Injuries have taken people out of gymnastics and that is all they have known. This is fun and she is great but it isn't a forever career. It does open the doors to many colleges though. I hope they do make it an Olympic sport cuz this little one has talent!
The only reason people are commenting that she is “lucky” is so they can have an excuse to not achieve great things in their own lives. If you want something bad enough you work for it. Plain and simple. This little girl is working her butt off. Great for her!
All star cheer is ridiculously expensive, especially when you add in the private lessons she's getting. Yes it takes drive and hard work but it also takes a lot of money that most kids don't have access to.
No days off = future problems with joints, muscles. We don’t stay young forever and that’s just asking to get arthritis as you age. Success in sports isn’t all about time. It’s about having the right set of skills, at the right time. There are a lot of Mary Lou Rettons and Simone Biles out there, but they weren’t in the right place at the right time. A lot of elements had to fall into place to get Simone Biles where she is at. The talent is just the icing on the cake. Please keep this in mind when letting your children participate in activities, no matter how good they are. And certainly don’t invest money in an activity with the expectation that the kid will ‘pay you back’. That’s just weird and crappy. If you put out the money, the money is spent. You are the parent and the decision is yours.
Why are some of y’all pressed that she has money? Like this video is about her talent not money. You don’t need money to have talent. Money can’t buy talent. It could help but if she didn’t have money I’m sure she would still be this talented .
As a gymnast, I naturally have a distaste for cheerleaders, but this one is an exception. Her tumbling isn't awful-especially for an 11-year-old. Nice job.
She is talented and fearless. Her adults need to keep a reign on her safety. She is too young for the amount of risk she is taking. I am not current on ACA rules but when I cheered there were age limits for big stunts.
