An 11-year-old in Charlotte, North Carolina, has turned his passion for lawn care into a thriving business. With the help of CBS contributor David Begnaud, he experienced a day filled with exciting surprises.

This dude's going places in life. He's either gonna wind up selling a business for a million or more before he's 20, or he's gonna be a great father and provider, or both! He already communicates better than many adults. Good work on his parents' part for raising him right. 👍

I did this, too, except with babysitting/housecleaning. At 12, got a CPR/safety certification and started my business. Always made sure emergency numbers were at the ready along with the number of the restaurant or cinema where the parents were. Baby sat and cleaned their house after the kids went to bed or sometimes they helped - we had fun! Saved up enough money to leave my abusive home at 17, the day after I graduated. It's great to start a business young and makes the world not so scary. 🤗

Man do I LOVE Quentin, his attention to detail is off the charts! I never had kids, but if I did I would I love to have him turn out just LIKE HIM!! SO HAPPY with all you did to celebrate a kid like him!!! Straight lines, edging, blowing the sidewalks! I remember the story of Steve Harvey's friend who love to cut grass, he has contracts all over the city, he a millionaire, just cutting grass!! Drewm big, dream big!!

I am so proud of this young man and the parents who are raising him! I never thought a segment about cutting grass would make me cry but I'm truly encouraged and uplifted by the number of stories I'm seeing about children following their dreams now and learning about business at the same time. When the right adults step in to build them up and place more opportunities in their path...There is nothing this child won't be able to accomplish in the years to come ❤

god bless this kid, now this is the kind of news stories we need more of. i must say that in todays world its so refreshing to see an 11 yr old, passionate about labor and working, because so many kids are lazy nowadays. a lot of them wont even clean up after themselves. i wish him all the best.

Alright, you got me. But Only because my childhood was close to the same, especially with the landscaping stuff, only instead of the airport or sports places, I wanted to mow all the golf courses.
