Welcome back. Same shit goes on here in Canada they treat them like gold and treat us like crap.Something wrong with this picture.Hope you get back into painting soon miss your videos
Annemarie, I feel the same way in USA. I am 74 & we have been trying to fix our influx from the southern border (supposedly) since I was a kid. The far right movement scares me to death. When a would be dictator tells you what he is going to do, you better believe he will do it. Maybe not today, but eventually they come after everybody. Hope you get your mojo back. Sometimes, it takes awhile. So glad to listen to you today. Miss you & your creativity. ❤️
Spend some time in nature, listen to some soothing music, or read a comforting book. Hopefully, for a while, that will allow you to forget all the crap that is wrong with the world and maybe get back into the frame of mind needed to return to your artistry. I know how hard things are nowadays, and we must keep all the good things close to our minds. We all love you and are happy to see you again. Please pass that love to your husband, and our hope for his safe return to health.
AnneMarie a million warm hugs. It's definitely a crazy world. Keep positive and only concentrate on the things that bring you joy in your life. I know it's hard, for our mental health we have to do this. Wishing you and your husband all the best ❤
I have over 50 chickens I take care of now, I don’t have a studio and sometimes go months without even thinking about art because it just depresses me that I don’t really Have a place…. We Artist need to keep it up. Right? Be very thankful you have that beautiful studio girl😉
So nice to see you again! Enjoyed watching you mix up the new metallic watercolors 😊 I'm finding out myself first-hand about the disregard for seniors here in the States as well. I take care of my Mom who has early-midstage Alzheimers. I'm trying to find a place for her since I have a ways to go before I can retire to help her as her needs increase. We're looking at approximately $100,000 a year for a decent but not great care facility. She collects Social Security at around $ 28,000 a year, and doesn't have a lot saved because what was there was spent on Dad's cancer treatments before he passed. I'm a single income household so I can only help a bit. I have no idea what I'm going to do as her Alzheimers progresses. Can't really afford assisted living and memory care is considerably more. Makes no sense to me that nothing is done to properly care for our elderly. And of course our borders are wide open and folks coming in get greater benefits than my mom. What a crazy world we live in. Anyway, hope everything goes well with Hubby's surgery. Sending prayers up and hugs your way!
who can pay 100.000 ? What I really don`t understand is that you had to pay for your Dad being sick, at least here in The Netherlands it`s 100% covered. Yes everone that crosses our borders gets a house, thousands of euros to buy furniture and about 2500 euros a month to live on, it`s crazy! So sorry you have to worry about your mom, I mean that. I play about every lotto, jackpot thing there is, if I ever hit it big you are the first I will help, cross my heart hope to die if I don`t. light fluffy hugs, as many as you need. ♥♥♥
We have got exactly the same problems you are talking about here in Spain and there seems to be no way to solve them. Unbelievable. Hope your husband gets better and BEST wishes.
Sorry to hear about your husbands hip replacement. That alone can be stressful and shut you down. The you through what our government is allowing to the criminal elements defile our country’s. On a brighter side you have an new home that is close to the beach. Even if your not able to go regularly, just knowing I could makes me happy. I now live where I’m 8+ hours to the Atlantic and 3 days from the Pacific. Thank you for sharing your time with us. Blessings
