Texas State look like a much better team that we seen in years. They just a lot stronger and faster and just beating Jackson State offensively. Jackson State couldn’t handle them as Texas State won the game 77-34!!!! Go Bobcats!!!

I know the Coach from Tx St Gary Joe Kinne or GJ is what we all called him. He played for my hometown of Gilmer, Tx under Jeff Traylor who is the coach of the UTSA Roadrunners. That system GJ is running is definitely doin some good for them!

JSU has many roster changes new coach and have the shadow of the past two seasons to try and live up to which they can’t record wise but they still are very capable of going back to the conference at least

but gave up 77 points, thats the most allowed from a HBCU school this year. JSU is good this year, not great. What I see, bad special teams, Good front four on defense, average to bad back 7, Solid Offense. Should do well in the SWAC but come up short for any other post season.

@@AdamShelton For JSU to even put up 34 points on an FBS school is a good sign. Most of the time when SWAC schools play these money games we get blown out by 50 or 60 points and only up 7 or 14 points. JSU has more to work on especially with special teams but we have to remember no SWAC school has won against an FBS team since 1985.

@Unstoppable25 Yes, but giving up 77 is not good. That's a ton of points. The defense and special teams is not good this year. Poor tackling all day today, but good front four. The offense is good. Now, in the swac, I believe they will do well, in my opinion.

UTSA is and has been one of the top 3 best G5 schools in the country the past few years. They have just as many if not more elite players than Texas State with a more experienced QB in Harris

@@RobotRebelCinema I go to txst and I agree. UTSA simply outplayed us offensively. I think there were very questionable calls on both teams by the refs but at the end of the day, the scoreboard didn’t lie. But I gotta say, it felt like a real competition, and next year will be fun forsure.

I agree, Traylor would be the first choice, just off of background and experience- I juat feel like he's already got eyes on him from Waco, especially after we beat them, I think Aranda is done after this season. Traylor would be great for Baylor, it even rhymes 🙄

This is an FBS school. NO SWAC school has won against an FBS school since 1985. Deion also lost to ULM when he was the head coach at JSU. And Texas State team is MUCH better than ULM they just beat Baylor. JSU has things to work on but JSU put up 34 points the most any SWAC school has put up on an FBS opponent in years.

NO SWAC school has won against an FBS school since 1985.

Outcome would have been a loss still. Actually, if you remember, Prime was against money games. So it probably wouldn't have happened as Prime's presence was the bag.

They are. This is football and the same boosters funded football equipment and a workout complex that Deion *didn’t* pay for. The community donated 100G’s by themselves, not to mention sponsors or planned funding from the Admin.
