Ivan Denisov, World Champion Kettlebell Sport Athlete and World Kettlebell Club Coach, breaks his own record at the World Championships with 116 reps LongCycle.
watched this videos several times over years, still incredible. even working hands on with Ivan, its hard to see how fluid he is unless you watch and watch and watch
I wonder why it is that those that practice sport style kettlebells tend to have more muscle mass on average than those that utilize hard style? Is it because of higher reps, or what?
3 things come to mind Volume- sport is doing this for as many reps as possible. They therefore train to do as many reps as they can. More reps = more muscle Frequency - doing this professionally they train more often, they have to. More often and with consistency = more muscle Steroids - sport will always be rampant with drug use. Drugs = bigger, stronger, more endurant muscles
