Here’s a tip for iPod touches: If they have a polished stainless steel back, there no Activation Lock. The iPod touch 4 and older don’t run iOS 7 or later so they don’t have the capability of that feature. The only iPad model that isn’t capable is the original iPad from 2010

@@keith.s7139 I tried it with my sister's iPhone 5s and it worked and if you want the purchase date just go to serial number lookup and you'll see when it was purchased but I knew the exact purchase date so I didn't have to use it
