Going through the cards / highlights from my blind reveal that was live on COG Sportscard’s channel a couple weeks back. All 1960s cards; mostly hall-of-famers.
Obviously it’s hard to judge a card from a video, but the the Rigney card also appeared to be skewed. I noticed it on the back and again on the front right.
Good point on the 64's. I haven't had any rejected from grading, but have noticed on my own that many '64 Topps will be somewhat small side-to-side, usually like a 32nd of an inch or something. I have more than a few cards like this, and they are definitely not trimmed. It's a bit humorous I suppose to demand such exacting standards today from cards that were made 50+ years ago where such little things would have been considered trivial if not outright crazy. Nice cards!
I was one of the winners from the live stream and I want to thank you for the cards. I enjoy watching the live stream. I have a question about the last 2 cards on this video. Why did one card have the names of the players and the other did not? I have seen too many things about PSA grading that I don’t like. Thank you for sharing your videos with us.
The 60s were just plain crazy. Long hair, Beatles, pot, great cars, Vietnam, music, and the best baseball cards ever (Mays,Mantle,Clements,Aaron) glad I was there.
NOW they are taking off for back centering? I have a PSA 10 1981 Winfield and the back is way off center. Grades getting lower and lower. They grade at least two grades lower than 15 years ago. That 2 on the 60 Maris is ridiculous. What planet do they live on?
