Wow, amazing how different they are from front to back. I think I prefer the starburst side, would've liked to see it with gold edging. Thanks so much for all of your wonderful videos.
I think these turned out cool Julie, definitely different, not the color you wanted, but a little closer! You’ll get it, you always do, that’s why you’re an amazing artist!!!
You do absolutely beautiful work. I create while watching you even when we’re doing separate projects. I’ll tell my friends that you and I create to get there LOL. It does not bother me that you have lengthy videos because I truly learn from watching you. Thank you so much
That one brown should be named "Chocolate Cherry"! It definitely has a lot of red in it. These are incredible! I love them all, I love both sides! The centers have an ethereal look - gorgeous! The edging is perfect, picking up the hints of gold throughout the coasters! Thank you,Julie! Take care and stay safe!
Love that you're always trying new things, and working in view of us to perfect various techniques. You are just marvelous! That brown pigment would go well in a Burgundy color scheme.
They’re so different on each side. I think I prefer the top side. It’s almost as if each brown colour is featured on one side each. I love that you’re remembering to do the hearts Julie. They’re so cute. 👍🏻
Beautiful 🤩 I actually love the back, definitely looks like starburst but you could use either way which is awesome, you don’t often get coasters where you can use either side. ❤️💙💗
What an amazing effect! Thank you for the inspiration. I have been watching lots of your videos but I watch them on my tv and can’t work out how to leave a comment so I’ve gone to my iPad just so I can let you know how very much you inspire me Julie and you are a joy to watch. Thank you xx
What about putting your mold on a tray, like a baking tray. That way you can pick it up and move it to the other table or anywhere, Then you have the good table to work on again. 👍🏻
loved this, but to be honest i prefer the other side, its different as you say x love the way you experiment and try new things it keeps us on our toes xx
I love these ones .They will go in any room and very rich looking .My daughter and I was having a giggle about you..Child Mum have you got a placemat for my drink?..Mum..Yes just in the cupboard ...Crash bang wallop as thousands fall out of the cupboard. Hubby ..I thought you said you had stopped making these..Mum..I cannot I am just addicted to coasters lol!...I really love these ones they are really beautiful and Remington me of hot drinking chocolate yummy ! 🥰
Love the surprise reveal, thx for sharing .....the gold disappeared, maybe next time the second last be clear then gold last....are you gonna do gold on sides later?
Both sides are rather stunning - great to have a choice. If both sides have the gilding, you can just pick according to your mood. With the rose gold side, the bigger white surround added something extra. That was subtle & beautiful. Is that an effect that you can replicate?
To bad you can’t get the crackel on the back side! I really like the back side more. Dragon Eyes are really popular, maybe you can make dragon eyes costers!
When you use your white, I was told to stir each time I open my Angel White with my stir stick and then just use the amount left on your stir stick. Maybe this will help.??? I’m definitely not trying to tell you what to do. Just a trick I was taught. Hope this helps!! ❤️❤️❤️
Chocolate milk brown maybe 😂 I love the way these look from the back. I REALLY loved the way the gold looked on the white and then when you added the brown it looked like honey. It was so lovely! I do not however like the way these look from the front. I am so sorry, but it looks like something you would find when dissecting human body parts 😬 But I absolutely admire your bravery and your curiosity to try new things. I really love everything you make (even if its just the backs of these ones) Keep expirimenting! Its so fastenating what you come up with!
Make your own brown... That looks like sienna...with the pink/red tones... Red and green..opposing colors...make browns... Depending on your preference..which 2 you use and adjust the balance... But I'm sure you know all that...🌿🌿🌿
Wow! This is so amazing! I love your videos! They are so inspiring to me. Every time I watch a video from you I neeed to try it myself ☺️ I tried this one too but unfortunately it didn’t work. Do I have to use the colors from the companies you used or is it the technique? Whatever... your coasters are stunning!
Another helpful hint, when you have those little drips that fall into your resin and you want to remove them...take a pipette, and just suck that little drop of resin out. ❤️❤️❤️
can you please tell me how do you get the crackle effect do you add something else to the resin I really would love to try this and I'm starting my own small business with resin and this would be a beautiful technique if I could perfect it
I love them and have tried to replicate these but for some reason I am not getting the dragon scale/crackle effect. I am using a medium viscosity resin, is that the problem? Should I be using a low viscosity resin?
What kind of resin do you use? You seem to have a lot of time to work with it. I need to use what you use? That has never worked for me before as far as the extended time.
Hi Julie I watch every video u put up. I have a question. I was wondering if you could tell me how many grams of each I would need for a 5:1 Eg would it be 50gm A n 10gm B or
That would be the case if part A and part B weigh the same. You should check by weighing say 20 mls of A and 20 mls of B to make sure, as resin is usually mixed by volume rather than weight. If A and B are the same weight, then the 50 g of A will be mixed with10g of B to get a 5:1 ratio. Usually the two parts have slightly different weights though, and an adjustment needs to be made. 🤪
