I've been scouring youtube for different things (electrical) and by far the way you explain and show your method of wiring and explanations of why you may do one thing opposed to another is absolutely amazing!!!! thank you for helping me understand my job and I hope that you continue making these great videos!!!
Sir.I'm Charlie from the Philippines.I watch your contents. Its very educational.could you please incorporate relay to other electrical components in a design wiring...thank you and GOD SPEED..
Thank you for all your videos. I'm going for my masters next month and I just found your channel trying to study everything and re review everything apprenticeship school covered. Thanks for you're videos sir keep them coming!
Hey buddy it's mutual, I'm super grateful that I just found you and I'm subscribed with the bell..... Thank you very much for your time and I hope you gain many more followers!
I am working on a 12 terminal Inkbird IDT-E Timer Relay (The Wiring Diagram Sticker on it says IDT-E2RH) But the Silk Screened Label on the Housing says IDT-E. Terminal 5 on the wiring diagram is labeled "OV". But nowhere can I find what this means or a description of what this is for. Terminal 4 is labeled +12 VDC out for sensor use only. I'm not sure if I will end up using a sensor but I have to use both a Gate switch and a Reset switch. Could it be that the "OV" Terminal is where to connect the gate,Reset and Sensor Return wiring to and without those systems interfering with each other? Thanks for the videos.
Is it me or are pins 5 and 7 labelled wrong? Every other video I’ve found has pin 5 NC and pin 7 NO, which appears to match the datasheet for the relay I have? Peter.
Thanks Alot Bud. This will help me wire a 3 phase Motor with an 11 pin Relay now and also we're using timed delays too so I'm quite sure I needed this. You helped me more than you can ever know.
Thumbs up and subscribed, live with an incredible engineer and it's hard to keep up without being able to take notes and your videos are awesome! Thank you so much for what you do, these videos are great!
Im learning a lot from your video..please keep on going making more . I wish to hear from you to make video for 11 pin over under voltage r3lay hows work / explain. Thank
Does the layout on 11 pins ever change?, Im on my 3rd month of my electrical technician course and just wired an 11 pin relay but in my case 1, 11, and 3 were commons with 1 connected with 4 and 5, 3 connected to 6 and 7, and 11 connected to 8 and 9.
I'm trying to figure out the off delay relay alil better. Its pins 5 6 7 that confuse me and I kno how to use all other pins it's simple. I'm not understanding the gate and reset part of it .
I prefer the narrower 11 pin relay sockets. Saves room in crowded panels. For the last 25 years or so all of the relay sockets that I ordered had the very confident DIN Rail mounting. Back in the 1970's we had to drill & tap two holes for every re!at socket . Preferred the ice cube relays that have a little LED to let you know when coil is energized. Makes troubleshooting easier.
Thank you! I’m trying to set up an ERV with 3 different switches (bathroom lights and kitchen hood) to active a booster fan with off delay. Neither my electrician nor my HVAC contractor knew what was needed. Your videos finally helped me piece it together.
Thank you for the video! I truly appreciate it a lot. This is the first video I've seen of yours and it is one of many more to come I'm sure. I've been doing construction and maintenance for over 25 years but I always stayed away from electrical, until 4 years ago. I am now autodidact in many things both AC and DC from cell phone repairs to 240v relays and most things in-between over the past four years. Electrical has been by far the best thing I've done to boost my experience and the most useful thing I could done to further my all around experience. It has even became my new favorite past time, I swear I'll keep wanting to learn about electrical till my last day. Thank you Sir, and great video, I look forward to many more from you. Remember: "Always think positive, it's a plus"!
Where do JM Electricians use pin relays? I have seen them at the company in the stock room , but never seen where they are used. I assume in lighting circuits, but where else?
Aww mann’ again, Great. Really liked the logic that’s why they call it a logic diagram’ I see the logistics versus just remembering how to hook it up.. good teaching..
I would love for you to do a video based solely on removing dog legs. You guys mention them, but never have I once seen a tutorial on the proper way to remove one.Just try line the pipe straight.Well it doesn't always work out that way,and apprentices need this information so if,(and it will happen)they know exactly how to make the proper adjustments in a timely fashion.Thank you.
Good Morning Craig, The following is what I need to do. I have a chick egg incubator which has 2 separate circuits. (1) 220v AC input which powers 220v AC heater and fan. (2) 12v DC input which powers 12v DC heater and fan. So the incubator can use either 220v AC Mains supply or 12v DC supply from a 12v battery. Normally I run the incubator using the 220v but during one of numerous mains power outages I switch off the mains and switch on the 12v supply. The problem in having to manually switch over from 220v to 12v . Therefore I am looking for a automatic changeover that senses when the 220v goes off and switches it to the 12v supply and can then switch back to the 220v when the mains supply comes back on. I am thinking to use an 11 pin DPDT relay (what coil voltage ?) Can you kindly assist how to do this. Thanks John
Sorry I got really busy on Friday and this weekend is turning out to be the same!! I will sit down and see what we can come up with!! You should have something by Monday latest!! I have not forgotten about you!! CM
@@craigmichaud-electricalins4602 Thanks Craig No Problem, I can wait. A friend gave me a suggested diagram but I am failing to attach a copy here , can you send me an email address so that I can send it to you to examine. Thanks John
@@craigmichaud-electricalins4602 thanks. Was troubleshooting a Dayton 6x602 11pin DPDT delay off timer when I found your channel. This video was helpful. All the others are in Hindi it seems.
