The worlds best singer you must be living in a dreamworld, Elvis The Beatles, Led Zeppelin Woodstock that had a tremendous following rock ‘n’ roll, took over three days of peace, music, and love justice for Marilyn, JFK and Dorothy Frank Sinatra was right in the middle of everything
These stars of stars are mostly if not all gone. Their light will always shine . God bless you all. I had the privilege of meeting Mr Sinatra at the resorts lounge in Atlantic City in 1983 when he arrived with his entourage at 1am in the morning to support his good friend who was playing Sam Butera. He greeted everyone in the lounge perhaps 80-100 people all shocked to see him with a handshake one by one at each table. What an honour for me and I still remember more than 40 years plus ago.
I am 90 Years old and remember the majority of these beautiful songw I remember most of the singers they do not make musks like this anymore 🌹🌹🌹❤️❤️❤️❤️🌈🌈🌈 37:56 37:58 38:02 38:04 38:09 38:10 38:11
I miss these type of shows, they were sometimes predictable and highly scripted but where in the world would you ever see so many greats of Hollywood in one place? These were the people who helped to shape our lives.
WE DON’T SEE THESE TYPES OF SHOWS ANYMORE IS BECAUSE MOST OF THESE FINE ACTORS ARE NO LONGER ON THIS EARTH. THE ACTORS WITH THIS QUALITY AND BEAUTY ARE NO MORE. WHAT WE HAVE NOW IS BLUE OR PINK HAIR WITH TATTOOS, IMPLANTS OR BOTOX. YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN. ❤️🇪🇨🇺🇸❤️
I've always like his singing. I did not know him as a man, but watching this video I learned that he was a very generous man, who helped build a floor of an hospital for sick children. I truly enjoyed this presentation and the comments made by his friends and entourage, particularly those from Richard Burton. I play the piano and I sing some of your songs, and enjoy them. Thank you Mr. Sinatra. Rest in peace !
This was a marvelous tribute to Frank with such talented artists! This should be shared with all music lovers of the Great American Songbook. I love all these songs! Steve Lawrence passed away recently. These were the best songs of all times.
@@user-fh9rj8lq4p He was a great actor! He interpreted the text with so much truth and intensity that Frank Sinatra was moved and had tears in his eyes.
I want to thank you - whoever you are - for posting this video. Watching it brought me back to my childhood and very happy times, It's impossible to know what was going on behind the scenes, but it's clear that there was some drama!! From my outward perspective, jealousy was thriving among and between all the performers wanting to be Frank Sinatra. It's clear and it's been going on from before then and is still going on to this day!
I would have loved to see there were here a couple of legends, who were good friends of The Voice: Robert Mitchum and Burt Lancaster. God bless them all for all the joy they gave us!.
I’ve never sought Frank so humble and introspective closing his words, going to Barbara and head-down sitting that night…only the applause gave him new life. I didn’t know he supported so much kids of his time: God bless you wherever you are Old Blue Eyes 👏👏👏
Mr,Frank Sinatra was the Greatest Singer to Bring Pleasure that can never be Replaced by Anyone Else ,MY Mother was called Nancy and we will never forget The Man with the Voice ,HE was An Incredible Man. ❤❤❤ Thank You for the Music.
Thank you for posting.I totally missed this show when it aired,.Busy doing overtime.I worked with over a million $ worth of broadcast video gear but, never could figure out how to program my VHS machine.
I 1000% agree with you as the #1 FS aficionado alive . Where are you is my number 1. It’s a magnificent opera but otherwise spot on and beautifully articulated. Jobim obviously phenomenal. One different opinion is I prefer the 63 Skin by far with the more mature voice at its mature zenith for me in 63-64! Thank you . He is in a category of 1 and a huge humanitarian; cival rights pioneer and at his best a great actor ( Manchurian Candidate/Man With The Golden Arm! All the best. Jay
