Omg.. I just realized that’s you singing! I’ve definitely recognized the voice from other videos but I never put the two together. I think you sound cool! 😎
1:17 DearVR Micro is also free, and offers much better Binaural Panning thanks to it's HRTF (Head Related Transfer Functions) tech. This plugin was originally Sennheiser Ambeo, but the project was bought by DearVR a couple of years ago.
I know you guys mostly deal with audio mastering in terms of daw etc, but if you ever consider stepping outside of the box I'd love to see what kind of free vocal chain setup/configuration you'd recommend/use for OBS studio to use in streaming. I love recommending your channel to other people, keep doing great work 👍!
cool, thanks Sage. I was wondering what makes various sound seem underwater in the ocean. Eq a lot of muddy lows I guess, with the occasional disproportionate high poking thru (that's more like a swim pool where things resonate highs in the skull) and an unrealistic delay before some reverb of some kind comes rushing in too late like a sonar response... just ideas and DDMF seems worth playing with in this odd regard.
The different tones is primarily because water is denser than air. Since sound waves travel so much faster underwater than in air, it is much harder for us to detect where they are coming from. Our bodies have something called bone conductivity. This is a process in which the mastoid, the bone behind our ears, takes in sounds.
we will definitely add links in the future, but none of these should be too hard to find through browser searching. Please reach out if you're unable to find any!
