In the future you should note that if you are solo queueing, if you manually select your legend in the beginning you will be granted the jump master. This shows the game you are active and will be most likely to drop rather than being away from your controller. This has helped me a ton where I can pick great spots to land that aren’t crazy hot drops where we will surely die.

This does work, although if multiple people are solo and multiple select their legend then it isn't guaranteed.

The only tip I would add would be just using your abilities a lot of times I see newer players rely completely on gun skill but forget to utilize the kit of a legend. Besides that you were spot on.

I just watched this video and I wish I had watched it sooner. I feel like I’ve hit a plateau or a wall while trying to improve, but now I realize it’s because I’ve been doing several things on this list, such as overlooting, not hot dropping, playing too defensively or indecisively, and losing my cool. I have been hitting up the firing range for AT LEAST 5 minutes (oftentimes longer because my aim is hot garbage) to try and get better. It did help at first, but it hasn’t been helping me very much anymore.

More about healing. If you’re in a team fight don’t overheal. Being -40 and taking a batt while your team is fighting can really throw off the fight. And sometimes when you’re so low and can’t get a heal off it’s better to just put out some damage and get knocked if you have a teammate rite with you. You gotta trade and play your life like a pro.

Levels mean nothing. I just started pc and I’m lvl 37 with a 4K on vantage and almost to diamond with 5 days on ranked from rookie.

a helpful tip for that is if you can’t 1v3 in your rank using positioning, baiting and gun skill then you shouldn’t be a rank above, until you can do that, then you’re prepared for the next rank

What do you mean? You mean the stuff that shows his damage and kills in the upper right corner? You get that by dealing damage to enemies, by killing enemies and by assisting your teammates.

Easier said than done (learning when to run from a fight) I’m the only one that plays apex out of my friends so I have always solo qued. It’s frustrating when they don’t listen and now you’re in a 1v3. Rarely do i get people with mics (that speak English)

how can you win more if there is matchmaking in play? only the few on top that are better than everyone else will get a higher win rate, the rest of us are stuck with 2-3 percent

Love these videos and it always helps to improve at least one tiny thing in my games. This season i am trying to improve myself even more, here is my Status so far: - Main: Mirage (about 1100 Kills) - Hours played: 450 on PC (had 50 hours on PS4, before switching to PC) - Rank so far: Gold 3 What i am trying to improve: - Gun Play with EVERY weapon: I often sticked to weapons which i can use best and avoided every other weapon nearly completely. That changed! I use snipers more, the 30-30, the G7 and some others and it really improves my self esteem for those weapons. I am getting better with them. Only weapon i am still very weak with is the Wingman. Horrible aim and i need to practice it even further. The hardest weapon for me - Movement: My movement is not bad, but i learned to use my decoys to make my movement even better. Sometimes it helps to surprise an enemy and get a fast kill! - Testing out other Legends: Mirage will always be my Main, but i love to try out some legends which i normally dont play: Bangalore, Newcastle and even Crypto. Every legend is great on its own and it is super fun to test them all out I am super happy with this game and i sometimes cannot believe it that it is F2P! Best Battle Royale out there :)

Frag grenades feel useless. You cant cook them so that you throw em and they blow up quickly. As such, starting a fight against anyone whos not already knocked (you win that regardless) will just run away. What am i missing?

After all the tip videos I’ve watched of yours (which are great) I think I’ve reached my end with Apex. No matter how much I practice and watch videos like this, I am still awful at the game. So much so, I get private messages telling me how bad I am with extra language. It feels bad because I know they are right. Love playing the game but at this point my KDR is a constant .24 and in new gun game I’m lucky to get 3 kills. At this point I’m just ruining other people’s games. It feels bad.

1 tip I wish my randoms knew was to USE THEIR ABILITIES So many times my teammates have died, and could’ve avoided it if they just used their ability. Example, I decided to be nice and let someone else play wraith (just grinding badges on her atm, might be my new main idk tho). Anyways They proceeded to die to a Bangalore ult when they could’ve just phased out lol. Or when lifelines place their drone after you healed 95% of your health. Just please use your abilities people 😭
