I’m sorry but one million smells like Raid fly killer.. it is THAT BAD. Similarly the vast majority of fragrances out there are just terrible, harsh chemical smells that have zero decent dry down. Honestly it’s like nobody has a functioning nose or any taste at all. Any dudes reading just remember, each fragrance will smell/perform differently from person to person so do NOT just blindly buy. Go and test each one out on yourself (individually, not all at once!) and wait for the dry down a few hours after spraying. This is where you find out what works for you. Videos like this one have their point, but remember, it is YOU who wears the fragrance. It’s YOU who has to smell it for hours. I’d say a lot of women have no real taste in fragrances, just as the majority of men do not. So don’t try to please them with the horrid chemically smelling shite with a designer name slapped on it. Take your time, learn about fragrances. You will end up with a small collection of what you love and what works for you. A few summer, a few winter, perhaps a few special fragrances are all you will want or need.. max! Try somewhere like selfridges where there is plenty of choice.. speak to the assistants talk about the ingredients and notes.. take samples, but only buy if you absolutely love it and it works for YOU! There's always a theme when women choose fragrances and it's if they'd like to wear it themselves, it's the reason so many women buy mens colognes now. mens colognes have been feminised to the point where they are nearly all unisex and anything even remotely masculine isn't liked, the same can't be said for women's perfume where there is a tiny pool that a man could wear as a unisex option.

Yeah I’ve asked quite a few women about Aventus, it’s in a sample kit with 20 or so of the most popular men’s fragrances. Most don’t like it that much though some of them love it. The birch smokiness is a love or hate for women. Almost all men like Aventus though some people (both men and women) have hated every fragrance including Oud Wood, SpiceBomb extreme, Bleu De Chanel, Sauvage Elixer, D&G The One, Versace Eros, Acqua Di GIO Profondo etc. most people like 9 out of 10 of them. Oud’s are polarizing and so are tobacco’s, and leather. Some people love them, others don’t at all. Women prefer fresh men’s fragrances almost universally and the spicy ones like SpiceBomb Extreme and One Million. Leather is a hit or miss with women. Almost all men like leather notes but sometimes they smell old tire rubber. Women say it smells like a “couch” or a leather interior of a car and if they don’t like it say it smells like tires or burnt rubber. I’ve been rocking SpiceBomb Extreme, Bleu De Chanel or Jazz Club, lately. Sometimes Sauvage Elixer or Molocule 01 + Yuzu 1% which I made myself.

Parfum is not the same fragrance though...people still think EDP and parfum are just stronger versions of the original which isn't true the EDP and Parfum are different fragrances, the notes are slightly different not quite the same thing. So just keep that in mind that it is different from the edt

I’m sorry, Tom Ford Oud Wood is a dream scent I’d love to own, but the idea of buying a scent that you have to over spray in order to project, and it costs $220 a bottle is a pretty hard pill to swallow to me. I’m in love with Soicebomb extreme and really loving the cold weather because of it, but even having to over spray that at $125 for 90ml makes shed a little tear every time I feel my bottle get lighter and lighter.

Simple is better because less is sometimes more, complex fragrances can be challenging fragrances to wear and you dont' get the versatility out of them and also most girls in public just want something basic. Only fragheads can appreciate the complex challenging fragrances because your nose is more trained and acquired to the tastes of the notes. Here's a tip most girls hate iris, leather, spices & boozey fragrances these are acquired smells that fragheads have became acquired too

I have a newer "reformulation" of creed aventus and I don't have a performance issue.. to be honest I go nose blind to it after a few hrs but other ppl still smell it on you

YSL Y Eau de Parfum has the worst performance of all the blue fragrances for me, even BDC which is a relatively discrete scent. Bad new batches? Nose blindness? I don't know what's going on, but comparing its performance with, for example, Sauvage EDT is like comparing a mouse to an elephant, longevity and projection wise. I mean, after an hour is all but gone on my skin. Anyone experienced this? it does smell really good when it's there, though...

Okey okey... Let's pretend for a second that the fragcom doesn't exists... In that case still maybe 5% of guys would wear fragrance daily and maybe like 10% for special occasions Aaaaand taking into consideration all this, all of the fragrance that those percent of people will wear they would be cheap Police/Hollister/Brave/Tom Hilfiger type of fragrances and maybe on top of that there would be Sauvage and Aventus If you go anywhere the mayority of fragrance you will smell is body odor and old spice deodorant, and yes, this summer I went on vacation to more than one city and could confirm to myself this information Do it like me, Eros/Flame for the win, never in my 3 years of being in fragcom I ever smelled it on anyone except the people who sprayed themselfs at my apartment before we left somewhere

My stepfather was a huge collector of fragrances and that's how I got into it, even without the fragrance community I still would've just tested and bought a lot of ones that interested me because that's basically what I do now I rarely blind buy any recommendations from youtubers or fragrance community anymore always test them first. Had a few blind buy disasters which were recommended by youtubers. Oud wood and l'homme ideal EDP definitely would've been blind buy disasters if I didn't already test them first luckily I never bought a full bottle only samples

Perfumo was given to me 7 years ago as a gift.I hated it.Last year,I took the bottle out and was amazed at how it smelled and was glad that it had me given to me.

Sauvage won’t be Beaten for years , BDC is lovely but my opinion don’t last as long as it used to also not as strong .

Are you talking about EDP, EDT or Parfum of BDC? That’s a huge difference and in my opinion the EDP is the best of the Line and I prefer it over everything Dior has to offer. But fragrance choice is a very subjective topic..

To be honest Oud Wood is my favorite no1,,, and i have to try the best clones,,,, and i bought Oud Noire Intense and Carved Oud,,, becouse are the best clones and better ingredients,,,, but even have better ingrediends both are below Oud Wood in term of scent

Zadig & voltaire is a bomb on my skin, 4 sprays and its overwhelming. Profondo lasts 3 hours tops.

You get woody manly sweet....it's sexy in it's own way but not mass appealing and probably not safe to wear around ladies because it's challenging in the same way that oud wood is challenging to wear

Sweet, aromatic and sexy. It smell isn't for everyone, the incense mix with the vanilla gives this perfume a dark and dry side. For me one off the best on my collection.
