Hello guys, sorry about the muffled audio and lack of music at roughly 2:30 and onwards. I got held up for some copywrite claims so used RU-vid's tools to remove the music. I hope you found the video useful and please like and subscribe if you did :)
3:00 Great video but your comment about schools, universities, etc not being in city centres is incorrect. It's not uncommon either, we have a few instances of it here in the UK. They're often called 'city universities'.
I will say, for schools and their location, it really does depend on where you live. For example in New York, many schools are midrises or older buildings that either got extensions built on them to house students and classrooms, or were converted from other buildings. And a lot of them are spread out over NYC, even in more dense areas of Manhattan.
Some suggestions to be like big RU-vidrs... That will make sence if you think... 1) have a bit more energy in your voice. Ofcourse I am not asking for like Tommy or something but a bit. Sounds a bit school like in some parts. A bit not much. 2) ask/remind to subscribe in later down the video. Not in the beginning.
@@NatoHJ I did notice that. We all appreciate the extra effort. Good video. Just be a bit energetic... Voice sounded a bit you know dull I would say. We appreciate your efforts 🤌👍
0:43 1:32 1:40 1:54 2:11 AYYYYYYYY MY ENGLISH HOMELAND BIRMINGHAM!. wasn't expecting to see that piece of crap in this video lol. personally I wouldn't use Brum as an example but you do you I guess lol. also at 2:11 i think you'll find the city your showing has already collapsed lol. they are literally bankrupt
In Europe in general. Germany, France, Spain and even colonial cities in the Americas like Guanajuato have the universities on the city centre. I love that concept tbh
I do mostly nighttime builds and they’re pretty impressive my biggest issues tho i when i cant find a picture for a particular side usually the back of the building
I also put stuff like restaurants and banks and fast food stuff in my city for more realism, I guess what I should say is chain locations would be good
lol, you have very narrow deflation of what makes a realistic city. Even in the western context your stemming from, it doesn't fully line up. for example, historically cities had large industries very much part of the urban fabric. something that is still very much case in for example Tokyo.
I am constantly expanding my skills when it comes to realism, I find that looking at real cities works best and also studying their history. Obviously I’m not a perfect designer but thanks for the advice.
@@NatoHJ I would not expect any to be perfect (^_^). When you look at cities, remember to look outside your home region as well, meany countries do cities differently from others, for example a city in Japan looks very different from a city for example in western Europe or the US.
@@NatoHJ Damn... i do earn money, but its only in the cents. If you want a tip to get some watch hours, upload a calming music video. i did that and now i have 18K watch hours
@@NatoHJ maybe make a gif of a minecraft forest of about 5 minutes and put it on loop. Then add some calming music. Minecraft music works best, because that isnt fully copyrighted. Hope yiu reach the 4k watch time soon!
@@NatoHJ well I forgot you guys actually buy games... I just suggested cause I thought you like cities so you will probably love that game... I mean I do myself. And these days many Minecraft RU-vidrs are playing anyways... I thought you might love as it has so many things.
Your vídeos are great , i helps me with ideias, i am currently building a city, but it has an late 19th early 20th century style, i usually dont build skyscrapers in my cities because the city i live since i was a child doesnt have any, great vídeo buddy.
however, you do notice buildings built by companies look basically identical, it just varies on who builds it. use this wisely in your cities, get builders!
10:25 if you want to build city for people, then these highways in the centre of city, traffic junctions may not be the best option :) They may be the best solution for out-of-city regions, not for city ones. And avoid underground and above-ground crossings :) Interesting is looking at a Minecraft city if you add trolleybus system there, provided with trolleybus contact network :)
