Lately I’ve been feeling like I don’t quite belong, caught somewhere in that void between caster and collector. I can imagine buying a vintage or discontinued lure never to fish it, and yet every cast with a piece of old gold fills me with dread I might lose it. So, today I have a solution. I have dug back through the old treasure chest and found a dozen discontinued bass fishing lures from various manufacturers that I think deserve a reissue. And best of all, all the designs are currently owned by PRADCO, so if anyone in Fort Smith, AR, is listening, do ol’ Retro a favor and get these classics back on the market ASAP.

You make a strong argument for some real old school gold to make an encore appearance! Lots of really good options you have on that list with a few lesser known products even making the list. You never know what fan favorite lures might just make an appearance. Let’s hear from the comment section about what lure would be the #1 choice to bring back a limited edition of.👂

Wow. I also caught my fist bass on black and white Heddon River Runt. A friend tracked one down for me. Still my favourite. Recently acquired a batch of lures with quite a few Cotten Cordells and amongst them the Suspending Spots

I caught so many fish on the Arbogast Hawaiian Wiggler. I'd like to see that again with some design improvements. Also, the Heddon/Bill Dance/excalibur Spit N' Image is an unbelievable top water. Its smaller size works when a spook is too much. It's still available, but they discontinued some of their great colors. Also, I have a river runt with the weedless configuration. It's amazing the hardware they put into this! Oh, almost forgot - the Bagley slow dancer.

Bring back the Creme Reel Eel 2 please! Is an amazing soft plastic bait! Also, the V&M Bassin' Eel, and especially the V&M Hellgrammites. Both are unique and very good soft plastic worms/baits. Please?

Silver/black Wee-R is my all time favorite! I reached out to PRADCO less than a month ago and asked if there were any plans to bring back the Cat r crawler or Big Ant as maybe a special package or limited run and they responded that they had no future plans for those baits. Clearly things have changed.

I'm really disappointed in the Reefrunner Ripstick 700 being disconituned, great for walleye. Also wondering what the heck is going on with Rapala's ripstick 12 deep. They've better for me than huskyjerks. Keep going in out of stock for prolonged peroids. Then I see these new Rapala PXR Mavrick 110 take their spot, but the stock doesn't even look like its out yet at all.

Just need some of the companies in China to produce some quality knock offs. It would probably make the companies here reproduce them. I still have a few of these lures in my dad and grandpas tackle boxes. But I could never fish them in fear they’d be gone forever. I agree with you that they should bring some of them back into production. I’d buy new releases of old classics and fish the heck out of them ! I’m sure many others would too. They are missing a new era of fishermen and women who don’t even know these lure ever existed. Like the line from field of dreams “ if you build it he will come”😂. Thanks for the video , and a trip down memory lane.

Although I agree on many of these some was discontinued for a reason lol. Some would be cool to see on shelves and in online shops again though. The jitterstick would definitely be a cool one to be back on the market.
