Hi Lucy, Over time I have watched ALL your videos. Somewhere along the line you were told that you could not show videos of the ship. I really missing seeing the day-to-day adventure of what cruising as a crewmember was really like. What cruise line you where working for and dealing with co-workers or passengers. Is it possible to still get vlogs of your excursions outside of the ship? Are any of the cruise lines willing to let you show that kind of content? Such as Virgin? Unfortunately, the charm of your RU-vid channel has changed dramatically / been lost - it has just turned into generic travel advice regarding cruise ships. I really miss the personal adventure part! Lucy I’ve watched all your videos and enjoyed them all, but I have to agree they are feeling recycled now. If you don't plan to be back on a ship in the near future might I suggest showing more about you (UK home town, friends, things you do). IMHO, you are the star of the channel…run with it.
Lucy, thanks for another nice video. Budgeting? Hmmm...these days, that's almost unheard-of...LOL And, I agree that stuffing too much (like too many excursions) into a vacation schedule is a big mistake....whether on a cruise or otherwise, take it down a notch, relax and enjoy your vacation! Also I love your advice about "researching" (the ports, the ship, etc.)....winging-it is cool, but at least know what's what. Wishing you Fair Winds out there on your adventurous life! 😀

First time cruiser here, as of March 7th 2024. You are spot on about researching the ports. The Nassau straw market tour was a total sham. Lesson learned!!! Great job on the videos.
Cruisers love to cruise..but not at the expense of the local community. Every port has the right to determine their future, and cruise ships should noti interfere. Cruise ships dont. Livethere.

3:03 and....tipping the guide of the excursion and the excursion bus driver. OR just bring a book to enjoy reading and CHILL w NO CROWDS on the ship😊😊 The AC on the ship often calls our name to STAY ...😊
oh Lucy and...not bringing comfy tennis shoes for excursions...Fashion is NICE but oh the sad people w blister from their new fancy sandels they wear on excursions.😢
As for missing the ship, there was that recent horror story about eight NCL passengers stranded in Sao Tome when they were late returning from a private shore excursion.

M sending email to my agent every week she even started ignoring me ! What should I do
I really really hope she will give us an update on what her plans are moving forward. It seems like she’s done a lot of videos without even a hint of what she might have coming in the future, as well as the videos taking longer and longer to come out.
Thank you Lucy for the travel tips. While I agree with your excursions comments regarding ocean cruises, I think river cruises are all about excursions. A couple of years ago we did a Viking river cruise from Budapest to Amsterdam and did at least one excursion a day, mostly two. Yes it was quite tiring but a river cruise is all about seeing things, it’s a bit like a coach trip but on a river. The excursions were the best part of the cruise.
Is it possible for you to follow around the cruise ship nurse please please please. It would be great that you are so experienced in making Cruise videos but the cruise nurses are really bad at making theirs
@@andrewquint7962 I figured as much. It’s just odd that she hasn’t returned to a ship yet as she went home on break almost 4 months ago and that’s way way longer than a normal break in between contracts. Not to mention not really hearing much of anything about her boyfriend.
I agree with you entirely. I wish Lucy would tell us what’s going on with her seafaring life. As to her boyfriend, although I’m just as nosy as the next person, I realize that it’s none of our business, right?
@@andrewquint7962 Absolutely none of our business. I just feel it was a bit odd that once she introduced him in her videos she had him in them a lot and things seemed good. Then she went home before Christmas and here it is a week into April and she still not back onboard another ship, and I don’t think she’s even hinted about what’s coming up and she usually starts doing that weeks in advance…. Just some observations from someone who’s been following her since almost the beginning….
