My wife and I absolutely love your channel! We have been following you for the last several years. Continue and always be the light and beacon that our Christ calls us to be as a testimony. It is a beautiful thing to share Gods Grace at the center of our lives with others. I know you have shared this holster before, but if you could share with me the holster that clips to your jeans. My wife doesn’t often wear belts and she is looking for a secure kydex holster that can be secured to jeans, shorts, yoga pants, etc. By the way, she carries a G43, but is going to test a G42 because you have been carrying one. Your positive influence absolutely reached all of us. God’s Blessing be with you and your Family, also thank you.
Oooooo. Those are fancy chicken coops. We had 200 in a 12x12 shed. We used tree limbs for roosts and scooped the poop out once a year to put on the garden. Better watch the opossums, minks, weasels, owls, and hawks. They all prey on chickens. Let them out twice a week in the summer and they clean up all the bugs. Fresh grass and bugs makes for dark vitamin packed eggs. 😅
Fun video! You should definitely get yourself a little flock of hens! I got my first 6 in 2016 and quickly added 6 more.My husband built our coop, and it's great. I've had as many as 23 hens (and one rooster), but currently have 12 and about to get 2 more from my neighbor. And...10 chicks coming in the spring! We do free range most days and have had some predator loss, but I believe my ladies have a very good life. I started out naming everyone, but now I just reuse the names or have multiple hens with the same names. Works for me. My favorite breeds are Dominique, Buckeye, and Easter Egger. I like having a variety of colors. Chickens are the best! Blessings, Marie
What a cool business to have! We love our chickens. They're definitely the easiest animal! We use the deep litter method in the winter. We sometimes use heat to keep the water from freezing, but this year I've just swapped waterers in the morning.
Yeah, sourdough baking is awesome. Not just for bread either, I use the discard for pizza dough, waffles, pancakes etc. don’t get discouraged if the first few loaves come out wonky, it’s a learning curve. After 35 years of baking bread with sourdough starter, best advice is to use a 5-6 quart cast iron pot, line with parchment and cover. This creates enough steam for a fluffy bread.
... I have friends that have chickens also , and besides a stationary coop ,, they have mobile coops called "chicken Tractors" ,, coops on wheels that you move around the yard ,, which also fertilizes the grasses and grounds ... Good luck when/if the time comes for chickens .... and Good luck with the sourdough bread ..
We live within city limits, but our front yard we converted to a permaculture food forest, our back yard is our "farm." We have kept chickens for years. We've also raised quail in the past, but for now it's chickens and rabbits. We have 1 hen to be a meat bird, the rest are layers. We have a dozen birds, two nesting boxes, and the hens predominantly use just one of them. Glousie (sp?) mentioned losing a hen to a hawk, that's happened to us a couple of times over the years. For us the bigger threat is from possums and racoons. FYI, for varmint control, I use a Henry lever action .22, which can cycle Short, Long or Long Rifle cartridges. Because we live within the city limits, I use CCi Quiet-22 rounds. They're moving at just 710 fps, but they get the job done, and are indeed quiet, especially out of an 18.5" barrel. I use the same tool & ammo for dispatching rabbits.
I'm really enjoying your blogs, both for its content and production. Really nice work. I've taken two of Macs gun safety classes, and his gun knowledge is phenomenal. A request for future content on this channel would.be a discussion about home defense. Most gun owners like myself have our LTCs for that reason, and through Macs class I learned a ton of great logistic strategies, but also how to protect myself from criminal liability/charges. Thanks so much! Merry Xmas!
I have wanted to get chickens too but have not pulled the trigger yet. Love their chicken coops and while I am in NE Pa I would drive there to get one. That Sourdough bread looks amazing! Merry Christmas!🎄
😋 Yummy sour dough bread. You should get chickens. I never thought I would like them, I like my horses and cows, but they are sweet. They all have different personalities. Mine are like hers and always looking for treats from me. Getting different breeds is fun along with their egg color. I think you would like them.
I have enjoyed following your channel. Shared it with my sister. Your discount code worked on the Pom pepper spray. Merry Christmas to you and your family
All this time I’ve been watching your videos, I never knew Mac’s last name...it’s the same as mine! Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year!
Hi Stav, I've been following you for 4-5 years and I love your "12 Days of Christmas CC". I have many products that you have featured on your vid posts - I especially love the Alexo Athletica CC pants, which I wear almost every day (even though I don't carry daily yet) just because they are so comfortable!! I do have a question; I can't find Day 12 of this year's "12 Days of CC". Is it posted somewhere else than youtube? I've seen all 11 of this year's but can't find day 12 and the giveaway. Thank you so much for all you do!! I absolutely LOVE you and Mac and all you share with us!! Please keep informing us and teaching us! You both do it so well!!
I'm concerned something may be wrong. I'm truly hoping that's not the case. The family is always the priority and I hope whatever the situation is that it's handled with the most care. New Year's wishes for the best and hopefully see you again soon ❤
Hi Stav. Just wondering if day 12 is going to be posted? I am hoping everything is okay ❤. I was very interested to find out what you and your family did with your new Christmas trophy! Wishing you and your family a very happy new year!
Chickens require herd control every few years to keep up the egg production. So you must be prepared to cull some out on a regular basis, and raise new ones to replace them... But the fresh eggs are heaven to have in your kitchen and so much more healthy than store bought. LOL.
As if dating isn't hard enough these days.. This beautiful young lady feels the need to remind us that women are packing and they know how to use it. Gee thanks.. Oh and Merry Xmas
I have not watched the video, but I noticed that she has what I would consider “a ton” of make up on. I’m a middle aged guy that couldn’t tell you which one is lip stick and which one is the brush thing you use on your eyes, BUT I just wanted to take a moment and comment. If I was a betting man I think your husband would maybe agree. First off on your make up it looks good. Like you did it the right way and it’s doing the job that make up was intended to do so I’m not saying there is anything wrong with it, but I’d like to state for the record in your other videos when you have no make up on or whatever minimal make up you look more than beautiful enough. God gave you a tremendous amount of natural beauty and I truly believe when you use a product that is man made to try and “enhance” his work, you end up covering his work. With all that said, you are probably getting all dressed up to go somewhere and the effort you put into getting all the colors to work right with each other and the talent needed to actually figure out and apply all that stuff is I’m sure also appreciated by your husband! …..kind of a weird random comment and please don’t take it in an offensive way!!
Inappropriate and out of pocket comment. Stav is happily married and her husband definitely doesn't need some random weirdo to speak for him. This guy is obviously watching for the wrong reasons. Stav's made up look was still simple and looked just fine. No where even close to "a ton" and Stav's looks are very natural and she knows what works for her. Dude has no clue about makeup and no one cares what he thinks.
Great 12 days of Christmas 🎄 👍🙏 I'm surprised & enlightened at MA life you enjoy ( like my home state not always judge the whole book by the cover) 🗽🌞🦮carry on 🔫🇺🇸
