I've got an older bottle of Jubilation, too. I've also got Jubilation 40. Personally I get great performance from both, but admittedly 25 is better than 40, but I love them both equally.

I got something mentholic to my nose from jubilation 40 which i can not bear. I get like 10 h longevity and intimate projection and sillage. New jubilation xxv gives my maybe 5-6 hours of longevity with literally no projection 😂😂

I envy your experience with Jubilation 40. On me, it's a skin scent, that disappears after 5h-6h

You prefer Au Coeur du Desert to Ambre Sultan? I've heard people are divided on this. I do love Au Coeur du Desert but have yet to try Ambre Sultan 🙂

Ambre Sultan is also a reference in terms of amber perfumes! However, personally, I do prefer Au Coeur du Desert. It feels richer, thicker and more unique. Nonetheless, I would also recommend you to try Ambre Sultan 😉

Hi Joao, my D’hermes eau tres fraiche is about finished, I love this perfume but it only lasts an hour or so, not good, I’m not going to try and find another one, so would you please recommend a more long lasting replacement, but as close as possible to the smell, thanks in advance….

I have a newer bottle of Jubilation 25 and get amazing performance both longevity and sillage. Same for Jubilation 40.

These are great suggestions, João -- including several I have not tried even once... we'll see if I die first or not. Meanwhile, have you tried Adorem? It's one of those small, limited releases that came as a Nez 1+1 (from Nez Olfactory Magazine), still available as of today, and it might possibly change your mind about "best" frankincense.

João Lima Eu já tenho o tuscan leather, acho que tenho 50 ml de 2016 e 30 ml de 2019, quando foi reformulado? Estou curioso pelo Andy tauer l air du Desert marocain.... Não faço ideia como seja. Já tenho muitos perfumes especiados... A dupla do costume national homme por exemplo são bem especiados. Quanto à frederique malle não conheço nada, quero conhecer portrait of lady, French lover e monsieur.

Hi Marcelo. You can blind buy L' air du desert Marocain, and trust me, you will love it. It is very dry scent, and so different from the perfumes that common people would wear. Zero sweetness in it, so if you like to wear Amber scents during colder days, buy it, you won't regret. Andy Tauer - a real indie power. Cheers from Serbia....

If i can recommend something (in case you didnt try these): Lubin Korrigan and Parfum dEmpire Cuir Ottoman. These actually blew my mind and im very very picky with what i like.

Can't agree more and i own most of the fragrances on this list😂. Question: i'm going to Italy in a couple of weeks and i'm wondering what fragrance(s) you would for this trip. Something that one could wear everyday and is more like "quiet luxury"

Ahahah not surprised, my friend 😂 A trip to Italy is always something special and to be excited about 😍 Maybe I would go with Xerjoff Nio, Profumum Roma Acqua di Sale, Acqua di Parma Colonia Futura and for the evenings Ramon Monegal Faisa. Something in that line 😁

Olá João Lima, acaba de chegar o l 'air du Desert marocain.... Já o senti, acho que tenho de experimentar mais.... Mas na minha opinião para já prefiro o memo african leather pois tenho o frasco vintage que nem se vê o líquido com caixa de couro... Estou a espera agora é de um que espero ter um patchouli bem terroso canforado com vetiver o incident diplomatique jovoy. O que achas desse?

Have a mini of Van Py Rhum! Delicious boozy vanilla fragrance! 😁👌 Odenaturae it's more Spring, Summer, early Autumn fragrance. Well, almost a year round type of scent 😁

This may not be the easiest task and thus a pain in the a**, but I’d like to request that you list the additional fragrances that you mention in the video description. Most time I struggle with the French pronunciations of fragrances that you compare and reference, and I don’t know how to research them. I’d really appreciate it if you find this request reasonable.

I had a new Jubilation and now I own one from 2016. The performance of the new one is horrible. Cannot compare to older batches. Sold it right away after I found an older Jubilation bottle. Fragrantica is filled with reviews saying the same thing about the performance. Not worth buying it at all. Amouage has gone down the toilet 🚽. Sad.

It's an abomination. Dior Homme is Dior Homme. That 2020 version should have been a stand alone release and yet it's not a great fragrance. That's only my opinion.

@@ScentedMoments That's exactly the same thinking process I had when I was a young capricious teenager and express my specific musical tastes by downplaying whatever I deemed not worthy of my curation. It's okay it 2020 doesn't resonate with you. I am sure there will always be peasants like me who find it just fine.
